16/03/2024: Itzel the best waitress ever. Very friendly and helpful. Amazing food

20/02/2024: Group of us met for a special (roundy!) Birthday meal for a couple of our great friends. 12 of us in all. Service was first-class, food was beautiful. The waiters were super, very pleasant, good-humoured, couldn't do enough for us. Altogether a first-class experience. A little pricey maybe, but we certainly got what we paid for! We'll be back.

01/04/2024: Do not miss this place if in the area. Me and 4 mates were visiting a few weeks back and we thought it would be good but it was even better than expected. The burgers are insanely good I'd go as far as one of the best I've ever had. The service was quick and really welcoming. We have already said when we go back we will be visiting here again no hesitation.

24/03/2024: Have been there multiple times (last time yesterday evening) The food: good portions size, the french fries are so tasty, the burgers are good too ( the only thing I would suggest would a bit more sauce perhaps, my burger was a bit on the very little sauce side) but overall a good place to eat. Service: good service full of hard working staff, friendly & polite always checking on the tables ensuring that costumers are looked after. Location: hidden, but not hard to find :-). Overall experience: if you are looking for a bite of America in Galway city this place is worth a visit.

03/04/2024: The best place that I ate in Ireland (so far). First of all, you may want to book a reservation, I didn't and had to wait 15 minutes in the bar I order to sit. In the bar the bartender was helpful and suggested to me a couple of local beers to match with my food (also I couldn't help noticing the adroit way he poured the drinks). The rest of the stuff wasn't as nice as he was. The place looks really awesome, similar to an American burger house style/booth full with interesting frames and decoratives, I could keep my eyes from the walls. The food came early and it was really really good. (there is a whole vegan section on the menu with a couple of options from starters to burgers and main courses). I ordered the porterhouse plant based burger with black beans and the soup of the day (which was cauliflower soup) both were super tasty and the portions were more than satisfactioning (although the country potatoes sides to the burger was extra spicy, not the best to me). Prices were fine and I really liked the experience. I strongly recommend this place.

05/04/2024: The breakfast was delish! I had the lemon meringue French toast and it was really really good! We were a family of 4 and each one of us enjoyed our meals! Definitely recommend!

19/03/2024: The good: - fast service - good location - ingredients are fresh, tasty and well seasoned - regular portion is decent The bad: - portions of main ingredient: I got a large spicy salmon bowl which you would expect would have more salmon. It had exactly the same as a regular (which was not a lot and definitely not worth the €14.50 I paid for it). When I asked the server about this, he simply replied “the regular and large have the same salmon portion size”. All the upgrade to large did was add more rice and cheap ingredients. Tl;dr tastes decent but they cheap out on portions by filling majority of the bowl with cheap stuff like rice, cucumber and seaweed. Not worth the price.

03/03/2024: Nice staff, and comfortable surroundings. Had the Roast Beef lunch special. Would probably revisit when I'm Carndonagh again. Its been a while since my last visit. Standards are still high. Just had the full Irish breakfast here today. Really tasty and filling. Good value for money. Sunday 3-Mar-2024 UPDATED: Phoned today around 11:45am to ask what time they started serving lunch, only to be told by the young lady, after she asked another staff member, that they don't serve lunch on a Sunday. Doesn't sound like a good business model. Came to Google to update my review only to find another review giving feedback on their lunch last Sunday!

25/02/2024: We had an amazing Sunday lunch here today. The kids had fish and burger from kids menu and both were very generous, cooked fresh and tasted amazing according to the children. I had roast beef and it was so full of flavour and again the portion was very generous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We haven’t eaten out in awhile as a family but found today’s experience to be so pleasant and affordable that I know we will be back in the very near future.

30/03/2024: Our experience wasn't pleasant at all - we were 2 of 4 people dining at this time and upon arrival we were only offered one menu told we should order by QR code which really takes away from a genuine human experience. My girlfriend's "sweet stack" came out deconstructed, the waffles were FREEZING meaning that even in a quiet kitchen quality check was poor or there was just a lack of care & the chicken tenders were more like chicken strips and at almost 20 euro you'd expect something you'd be eager to recommend to others. Sides coming in at 7 euro for their size is extortionate especially when their was a tremendous lack of flavor and fake cheese just drizzled on.. An extra side of sauce for 2 euro is outlandish when all you receive is a spoonful amount.

04/04/2024: Have you ever taken a bite of a burger and wanted to cry actual tears of joy at how good it was ? This was my experience in Son of a Bun. Staff were great too, can imagine it's the best burger in Cork.

15/03/2024: I went alone and ordered a large Irish breakfast with white coffee. I could choose between two kinds of bread. All of the food on the dish were delicious, so I think it's a good thing to come here. I wonder semi-circular food on dish, but I'm not good at enlglish. I really regretted that. If i go to the restaurant again, I will solve this curiosity.
