20/08/2023: When we walked in people who works there where with the big smiles 👍... I had that feeling that we are very welcome 🙏 recommend this place if you want to have good time ... Next time will go there earlier to try the food ... heard that it is good too. 👌

22/12/2023: What ever you need party wise Dicey will look after you the food is excellent and the atmosphere and craic is always 100%
02/08/2023: Great pub, always good craic. If you like Karaoke you'll love it. Also has a pool table and room for private functions. Staff welcoming and friendly.

23/11/2023: Ok what can I say here. I tested the 4.7 theory out at 5pm opening time. First pint of Guinness and didn't expect much but it was A1. Tried the Killkenny to and was amazing. All beer is spectacular In this bar. They go the extra mile for their clientele. John the bar man was a breath of fresh air. Very welcoming and so knowledgeable about pub history. Amazing decor and memorabilia. I'll be back for sure. When I say the best pub in Carlow I mean it. It is. Thanks guys

06/03/2024: I have never been so disgusted with any takeaway. The food was cold. There was hair in it. And it was missing items. Oh, and good luck contacting them, their phone is not working (how convenient). Will not order from this place ever again. Seriously people, avoid this place. It's a waste of your money and a health hazard.
11/01/2024: There weren't any other customers waiting to be served when I arrived. The locals seemed to think the next restaurant was better, so more people were waiting there for service. I think I should have waited and went next door. The server was pleasant enough although pricing is not that competitive, I planned this for supper but I didn't like it very much. All this food appeared to be just reheated, including the fries were just hard and tasted bad.
