20/03/2024: Fabulous food with friendly excellent service.

17/03/2024: The staff are outstanding also the service is first class and the food amazing. It's now our annual treat. The wine pairing with each dish was really good, and the sommelier was excellent. The seating area at the back of the restaurant is so comfortable to have a drink after the meal. Also, the breakfast selection is topclass.

26/03/2024: Was down in Cavan at a party in this pub excellent food,friendly staff and great atmosphere there great spot to watch a game as well it’s a lovely spot definitely worth checking out

08/03/2024: My husband and I shared the goats cheese bruchetta to start. The goats cheese was fine but the tomatoes were overcooked and barely edible. My husband had the burger and chips, the burger was overcooked and the bun was burnt. I had the turkey and ham, it was prepackaged turkey and ham slices which i couldn't eat but i did bring them home for my dog who didn't complain. The mash was practically solid, the stuffing had far too much herbs, the vegetables and gravy was the usual pub version. My daughter had the children's burger and chips which she said was nice. The atmosphere was decent and the lady serving us was friendly, attentive and excellent at her job. Needless to say we won't be back as we enjoy good quality food.

02/04/2024: Fantastic CAFE with sweet and savoury pastries, eat in or take out. The soup 🍲 is absolutely 💯 HOMEMADE every spoonful is delicious and nutritious. The toasted 🥪sandwiches are fresh and very tasty. Cakes and pastries 🍰are made on the premises and are super fresh and very professionally prepared and presented. If you need anything for party food, look no further. Staff are so lovely and kind great chat, making the whole experience a return event.

31/03/2024: Very nice cosy place to have your meal in Cavan town. Nice interior and touch to the detail. Great variety menu. Kids friendly atmosphere. Excellent customer service.Big portions. Not long wait to be served. Parking available on road side. Outdoor heated dinning area available as well.

05/04/2024: We were visiting Cavan town and was recommended this place, we had a fantastic meal, for starter we shared the chicken satay which was amazing, we each had the sirloin steak it was beautifully cooked with a lovely chargrilled flavour, for dessert we shared the mixed berry cheesecake also heaven on a plate.The service was super very attentive staff with a welcome smile!

05/04/2024: Good restaurant. The food was good enough, some foods were over-seasoned a little bit. However, the portion sizes are ridiculous. We payed over €8 for a tiny bowl of crème bruleé. A little bit of a rip off. Service was excellent. Lots of staff and they were very friendly and kind. My family sat in quite a crammed space, and the overall restaurant is pretty small and enclosed. A little bit annoying at times. The bill was an outrageous price for only a family of three. Over €200. Overall, nice restaurant but the prices of the food needs to be looked at, it’s a joke.

24/02/2024: We were fishing around the area and went in for dinner. I had the chicken casserole it was wonderful. the👨‍🍳chef came to check the food was ok and gave us some information on where to go fishing . The service was provided by two ladies it was brilliant, some conversation, and fast service .Not my first time in this place and won't be the last.

17/02/2024: Staff so nice food super nice cheap easy quick. Service simply brilliant. Eat there regularly not one thing to complain about.

26/03/2024: Stopped in on our drive home from a short holiday, needing a pitstop to refresh. Ended up being the tastiest food of our entire holiday, just delicious and hearty, super friendly staff. Had a lovely wee walk down to Turbet Island to walk off the brunch, but then ruined it by devouring maybe the greatest brownies we've ever had. Hope we get to stop by again some day!
