29/03/2024: We called in a Thursday afternoon on the way back from Lahinch. Food was good and a good selection for lunch with a few specials. Would call again and plenty of parking on both sides of the road.
23/03/2024: This was one of our favorite spots that we visited in Ireland. The gluten free offerings were plentiful and the hospitality was extraordinary. We will definitely stop in on our next trip.

17/03/2024: It was an experience for us (couple), not only a dinner. The staff is kind, helpful and friendly. Names of the dishes probably are slightly different but there's what we ate. Starter: goat cheese pie with veggies and salad, main: beef steak (stewed) with prawns and mash potatoes, dessert: Henry chocolat fondant.

29/03/2024: This was honestly the most delicious meal I have had in a long time and I now wish I had started going to Everest Kitchen sooner. The owners are the kindest people you will ever meet and they made us feel so welcome. We had the most amazing Nepalese food but we also noticed a lot of people popping in for their fish and chip takeaways too. Between the 2 of us we had 2 starters, 2 large breads, the sharing platter for 2 people, 2 glasses of wine and it all came to €35 each. There was so much food that we both got takeaway boxes and I'm sure this will taste delicious tomorrow. Without a doubt Everest Kitchen is going to be my restaurant AND takeaway of choice in Ennis from now on.

27/02/2024: I dropped in to meet some friends for some drinks.
The bar had plenty of staff, but service was a bit slow.
It was very busy for food which looked to be good.
When busy, it can be very loud and difficult to carry on a conservation.
16/02/2024: Food was absolutely amazing. The seafood chowder was the best of our whole trip. Fun and cozy atmosphere and staff was wonderful. It’s a must if you are in Ennis!

02/04/2024: Our room was a bit rancid. I wanted to get out the cleaning cloth, the vinegar cleaner and then give it a good wipe. The breakfast was really good. The staff very friendly. A fire alarm was somewhat surprising in the middle of the night. But there was no fire, there is always something. The castle is right around the corner and you should see it.

05/04/2024: The atmosphere was phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The live music sounded amazing. The service was on top and the food came quickly. I had the vegetarian fajitas. For me, they were a little bit too spicy but I also have a low tolerance for spicy food. I highly recommend to go there. The pub is well located.

05/04/2024: Nice proper pub with a welcoming staff, fresh food from an expansive menu. Wide variety of beers, ciders and alcohol. Typical Irish pub interior, including a warm fire. A bigger seating area in the rear of the pub. The staff were friendly and full of conversation. Live local music available at certain times. Great place to get a bite to eat and enjoy some beverages. If you’re in the area, Kenny’s Bar is worth the visit.

26/03/2024: It was mothers' day and the restaurant had opened especially to cater for women being fêted by their families. The menu was fairly standard: roast of the day, fish, chicken, black bean burger. The inclusion of Baked Alaska was the most exciting aspect of the meal. It was grand, but not special. However, on a cold day in Ennis we were delighted to have it open for us.

30/03/2024: Simply an incredible stay. The grounds are stunning , the rooms are large and comfortable and the staff is superb . They are very much into paying attention to details to make your time as enjoyable and stress free as possible . Aiden in particular was incredibly friendly and accomodating one of the best parts of the castle . Breakfast was fantastic and all the food and drink options were delicious . Wouldn’t stay anywhere but here again especially for a true 5 star experience . Will definitely be returning

Got Seafood chowder.
Came in a bowl the size of a sugar bowl, 9.50 . . only had white fish and smoked fish. no salmon or shellfish. The bread that came with it was delicious.
02/04/2024: awesome food at this restaurant! service was quick and speedy, friendly staff and awesome food! we got the soup as a starter with an irish beef stew and fish and chips - delicious and portions were good too, will recommend to anyone on the wild atlantic way journey!

03/04/2024: Incredible. Absolutely delicious. I had the cream of vegetable soup and goat’s cheese salad- my friend had the soup and steak. Everything was so good. The soda bread is very unique, and also amazing. Wish I could clone this place. The service was incredible as well- all 3 people working were completely on top of everything
02/04/2024: Dropped in quite late yesterday evening after a hike on the cliffs. Had the fish and chips, my friend who’s vegetarian had the lentil pie. Good food, good beer and lovely staff, would recommend!

31/03/2024: On a drive around Lough Derg, called in for a bit to eat. It has a fine choice on the menu with options to customise. What a great find, it’s a shame that it wasn’t busy, as places like this really need customers to keep going.
I had a nibble before photos were taken.
Highly recommend, reasonably priced. Atmosphere only marked down due to it being quiet.
Pizza, a beer, desert and a coffee (lovely) all for around €30👍
24/03/2024: Delicious tapas starters, main pizza was great, dessert was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.
