23/03/2024: My God Son celebrated his 21st here with a meal. I've never been here and was really impressed. I'm not a foodie and will not be precocious and pretend that the calamari was under cooked or over cooked or that the risotto could have done with a few minutes more and all that nonsense. All I know about good food is that it's is really good or really bad. The food in That's Amore is really, really good. And I'll say one thing though don't go for pizza try something new you won't be disappointed by the the the Pizza is really good too. Staff are lovely and ate very much part of the ambience. I'm going again real soon. I don't take pictures of food that really annoys me when people do that besides the food was soon good we didn't even talk until we were finished. 14/03/2024: Fantastic Italian!!! Great food, great staff. One of the best places for an authentic Italian in Dublin. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere for food in Malahide.

23/03/2024: Hello, I just ordered a ( gluten-free ) pizza from this pizza restaurant. I’m a coeliac (wheat flares me and makes me very ill) I asked for toppings of Mushroom Onion Black olives And Capers I was quoted a price of € 25.00 for a 12” pizza, As it was a huge treat for me I said ok. 15 minutes later I got a phone call to say “we forgot to add on €2.50 for the gluten free base, . Bringing the total for a 12” to €27.50 nearly thirty euros for a pizza. I didn’t want a wagon wheel of a pizza , only a treat on a Saturday evening. Which I would have only eaten half of the pizza I’m disgusted at their attitude and their customer service. Obviously I will never try €27 pizza for-one when I can try great restaurants to eat, rip off swords at its best. Thanks but no thanks.

10/03/2024: authentic italian carbonara with no cream [ultra unusual in ireland], authentic neapolitan style pizza with san marzano tomatoes, good selection of italian wines. i rated 4 for atmosphere but it can be my misses, she drives me mad over everything. food 10/10, im sorry i couldnt fit more in my stomach. receipt for dinner for 4

19/03/2024: Short summary: the absolute best culinary experience we had on our trip to Ireland. In detail: The restaurant is beautifully located, right on the harbor with a great view over the sea. The decor is cozy and fits the style of the store, everything still faces the sea view, 5/5. But the most important thing is the food. The boss and owner personally gave us his recommendations and respect, the man knows exactly what he is talking about. No ready-made ingredients are used, everything from pasta to sauces and marinades is freshly prepared from the best ingredients. The interpretation of Italian classics is something special even for connoisseurs of Mediterranean cuisine: they manage to present the traditional dishes in a new and exciting way with a wink, which was 100% convincing. 5/5 Special recommendation: the Chicken Liver Plate Crostini and the Pasta Tagliatelle alla Ragu. The service was attentive but not intrusive and very friendly with good drink recommendations. 5/5 Overall a flawless 6 star experience, if it weren't so far away we would be there every week.

22/03/2024: Beautiful, relaxing decor and nice warm atmosphere. Service prompt, professional and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and good quality reasonable priced wine menu. Highly recommend 👌

19/03/2024: We had a party for 20 people in this restaurant. We wanted to allow our guests to try more Italian cuisine, so we ordered a starter as shared plates. However, we ordered a bit too much and there were still 4 big pates left of the meat and cheese mix. The "take home" option seemed a good idea. So after saying goodbye to our guests, we came over to the counter to pay the bill and to remind them about the "take-home" option. However, waiters claimed all the food had been trashed. Most of the restaurants ask whether you want to take your food home so this seemed a bit unprofessional of them. Besides, we did check about this option when booking the place and their answer was "no problem at all". Somewhat disappointing.

31/03/2024: This place gets a 5* because they provide good quality coffee and good croissants 🥐 at a reasonable price and the girls give good service. I am constantly on lookout for places like this that do coffee and croissants at a reasonable price to which I will return. Too many places in Ireland are ripping people off for coffee..... Not this one. Thanks. Peter

03/04/2024: Great spot , the food is fantastic , staff friendly , laid back with no fuss, and appreciative their regulars. Recommend the chicken Arrabbiata if you like it spicy .
