28/03/2024: The food is wonderful. The atmosphere is nice, warm, clean and cozy. The staff is nice and pleasant.♥️
23/03/2024: I had lunch here today and ordered sushi and some starters plus dessert. The sushi was really good, my favourite was the squid and chicken dumplings. The bill was 60 euro for two people, definitely worth it. Everything was fresh and tasty. Next time I want to try their noodle and curry dishes. The were very polite and service was fast enough.

Dashi

10/02/2024: small place with a cosy atmosphere, but the ramen was more than regular soup with random vegetables and sliced noodles

Ichigo Ichie

Cork
15/03/2024: Very disappointed in our experience here. We are coming from New York and were looking forward to our meal here, but we will not be returning in the future. The ambiance and service were excellent. However, we ordered a bottle of wine and were served a more expensive one before we realized it was the wrong bottle. Every single item of food we ate afterwards - from appetizers to entrees - was FRIED. The pork katsu was dripping in uncooked, gloopy egg white that was frankly disgusting and inedible. The fried coating quickly became mushy and fell off into the broth. My husband's cold soba came with mushrooms, which ended up being a giant hunk of beautiful oyster mushrooms that were fried to smithereens until they became an inedible mush. There was huge disrespect for ingredients throughout the meal. Not a single item of fresh vegetable, even for contrast - just huge pieces of tempura. Granted, the tempura was well done, but it was served over a bed of soba or rice without even an inkling of a fresh component. The meal was heavy, oily, blatantly unhealthy, and definitely not worth the splurge (both cost or calorie-wise). This restaurant not only does not respect, but absolutely destroys what undoubtedly starts as fresh and lovely ingredients. Overall hugely disappointing.
13/03/2024: Had a lovely dinner recently to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I had forgotten that I added this to my reservation so was delighted to be presented with a lovely glass of prosecco on the house! A nice touch that was completely unexpected! Food was fresh and delicious, will definitely be going back.

Maki Sushi Rolls

Cork
20/02/2024: Out of this world delicious sushi rolls @€5.50. On our most recent visit, we tried two types: yellow fin tuna and spicy prawn, both scrumptious. With a generous side portion of beautiful pickled ginger @€0.50. Fantastic value for a light lunch for two. My favourite sushi in Ireland besides Wacafe in Galway.
03/11/2023: Used to love this place but I can’t justify going here anymore because of the price increase. We all know the prices of everything have gone up but a poke bowl is €17 now😢 for the portion size it’s just not worth it. Very disappointing
