08/03/2024: Was part of a group of about 70 people for an after funeral lunch and the food and service were excellent. Very rural location. Well run establishment.
29/02/2024: I have eaten here on numerous occasions and it is an absolutely fabulous restaurant for family gatherings and couples, level of food and service is brilliant, we were recently at a family confirmation where other families were having confirmation celebrations and the staff gave each chitchat got confirmation a card with 10 euro and also provided a disco in the restaurant which was a great hit with the younger children, you would go a long way to find this level of service,
Also Sunday dinner is excellent here,

17/03/2024: This is a lovely coffee shop, nestled to the side of the square on the edge of Longford town.
Went in for a coffee and some cake for the kids and it didn't disappoint. The barista/owner was a gentleman and really nice. The coffee was really good and the cakes were devoured!
Will be back the next time I'm down those parts.
Would highly recommend!

29/03/2024: A great atmosphere here - a massive dining room with tables well spaced and flowers / greenery. I’d love to come in the summer and try their massive outdoor space. However a few braying diners managed to spoil the calm on this occasion. Scallop and chorizo starter was well executed as was the main of Joster? grilled Guinea breast on creamed lentils and cabbage. A great place to have a ‘grown up’ meal where you can chat with those eating with you and hear what they’re saying. Staff attentive

14/11/2023: Two friends and myself came to this establishment after sleeping off 9 hours of jet lag. We were hungry and needed a hot meal to fill our bellies. How fortunate we were to find the Macs Shack.
Breakfast for dinner is always a treat but this was special. Our first official meal in Ireland. What an excellent start to the trip. The food was delicious. Fresh ingredients, all locally sourced, cooked on the spot. The owners were gracious, courteous, and welcoming. We talked a full 30 minutes after the meal, providing places and advice for our trip. Highly recommended.

We asked to be moved from our table as there was another diner who insisted on engaging with loud conversation despite not knowing us, the waitress understood and as soon as a table became available she moved us to it.

23/03/2024: Food is very nice but there are always delays with collection. I have ordered multiple times for collection and was given a collection time but have always had to wait an additional 10 or 15 minutes. Poor service, customers should be given realistic collection times and not left sitting in a waiting area for up to 15 mins whilst Food is being prepared. The poor service let's them down as the food is nice.

18/03/2024: Popped in starved on way from.a funeral. Place was quiet as it was early evening , looked at menu and ordered. Omg the amount of food that arrived was huge. And very tasty but i couldnt finish half of it. 2 lovely girls waiting tables, girls with a tongue in their heads and could have a bit of banter with us
Will be back and only order half of what we did

30/03/2024: Went with the family for lunch. Was greeted by a very friendly waitress and then helped to our table. Food was good and fresh. Atmosphere was delightful with a number is family 80s songs playing the background.
