17/03/2024: The staff are outstanding also the service is first class and the food amazing. It's now our annual treat. The wine pairing with each dish was really good, and the sommelier was excellent.
The seating area at the back of the restaurant is so comfortable to have a drink after the meal.
Also, the breakfast selection is topclass.

04/03/2024: A lovely little gem at the end of Dalkey main street. A small intimate venue, genuine Italian food which was gorgeous, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. The first time we were there and we did not know what to expect, but we were very pleasantly surprised and since then have been back on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Recommended.

05/04/2024: Nice proper pub with a welcoming staff, fresh food from an expansive menu. Wide variety of beers, ciders and alcohol. Typical Irish pub interior, including a warm fire. A bigger seating area in the rear of the pub. The staff were friendly and full of conversation. Live local music available at certain times. Great place to get a bite to eat and enjoy some beverages. If youโre in the area, Kennyโs Bar is worth the visit.

03/04/2024: Such a wonderful and charming space full of warmth! The castle is just so beautifully upheld and decorated. Everyone is very kind and helpful! Even if youโre not at the castle, the cabins are also wonderfully sized and just gorgeous. Cannot recommend enough!

04/04/2024: Enjoyed a lovely meal here. The service, food and atmosphere all made for a most enjoyable experience. The nibbles starter had amongst other dishes a really tasty hake dip also pleased to say the chicken was free range. Will return and would recommend to friends, etc.
03/04/2024: We had dinner for two at Jacques restaurant. It was absolutely excellent! We had asparagus and mushrooms as a starter, lamb and hake as a main, followed by chocolate and salted caramel tart and medjool as dessert. Every single course blew us away, really. The wines that were offered were excellent too. The servers was extremely professional friendly and personable. Terrific evening. Really recommend this restaurant!

25/03/2024: This was my first time at the Elephant Castle Rathmines. Not only crew were amazing, I was never treated so well, but also the food and drinks omg. Thanks for everything, I certainly will be back .
23/03/2024: It is a shame to write this review because I love their chicken wings but I haven't had good experiences lately and all for the same reason: cold and dry chicken wings. For my disappointment, again, just received my order to have my chicken wings with no sauce at all, dry and cold ( it felt like and old order left behind and given to someone else after hours). Delivery cannot be blamed because it was very quickly. I wouldn't write this if it was an isolated experience but it keeps happening. Not ordering any time soon. Think twice. I'm not after refund or credits, I'm deeply disappointed to have my meal, after a day of work, to be delivered like that.

01/12/2023: The Michelin next door is the title suggested by my wife - and that is no joke. If you want Michelin level food quality, taste, presentation & service but you wish to pay casual dining prices THIS is the place you want. Alas, they'll be closing by end of the year so go now while there is still time.
Each & every item on the menu (from starters, through mains & dessert) was utterly unique and memorable - the chef moved here from Bastible - and eating here is a Class experience.
Staff are relaxed warm and friendly & I'm really sorry to see these fantastic folks go.
