30/03/2024: Fantastic food with great attention to detail, top class service- 10/10

28/03/2024: It is with sincere regret that I leave this review. My wife has been a huge supporter of Paradiso for over 30 years. As a long term vegetarian Cafe Paradiso was her food refuge, she introduced so many people to this establishment over the years, me included. My wife has a peculiar food allergy that was never a problem before and as usual she called ahead to alert the restaurant. Unfortunately on this occasion it was a problem. The proprietor simply did not want to know, my wife's food allergy could not be accommodated, no apology, no excuse....that's it....***k you customer..... She was devastated, it was like a death in the family. Maybe DC was just having a bad day? She doesn't know I've left this review, she would not want me to do this as she had such good times (and friends) there, I simply cannot let it go as she was so upset.

30/03/2024: The staff are the best in the country. I had a small accident climbing a mountain and they could not have done more for me. Other hotels could take lessons.

29/03/2024: Great pub. Very atmospheric. Very tasty fish and chips (4 dips!!) and soup of the day.

04/04/2024: I heard about this place from friends. Well worth a visit. High quality fast food. I had the burger which was excellent. My partner had the fishnchips. Equally excellent. We found a table out the back in the sunshine. If you're planning a visit to east Cork put this on your to-do list.

22/03/2024: Well worth a visit. Self service but the food was top notch and very reasonable. 3 adults and 2 kids was €67 (food only) Only marking it down to 4 stars as you have to get your own drinks at the bar.

22/10/2023: Very cool place with great staff and drinks! If coming for your first time, it can be a little tricky to find (if using GPS, look down the alley for their sign). If I were a local this would definitely be a regular visit to have a drink and chill. (Also has live music some days of the week.)

28/03/2024: Great pint of Guinness and used to be my local, always drop in for a pint of plain and watch The scouse army on a weekend whennim back over. Lovely friendly staff too.

26/03/2024: I really enjoy going to Press Cafe. I think their food is really fairly priced, and quite tasty. They’re tucked in away from the busy streets and you feel like you’re eating in a little green house. It’s a really nice place, and I strongly recommend it!

24/03/2024: Lovely breakfast/brunch spot, but this time around the gluten free benedict with salmon option was disappointing, bread was small, thin, stale and dry with no butter, a sliver of salmon and just overall disappointing.

10/03/2024: This place is a gem. Fantastic premises and wonderful nourishing food. The staff are lovely and incredibly welcoming. Definitely worth a visit, only 15 minutes from Kilkenny City.
