1900 in Dublin

Really beautiful food and decor with wonderful, friendly and accomodating staff! Great for a special occasion, prices were very resonable for the quality of food.

This restaurant is a good location if you're going to the Concert Hall (less than 5 minutes walk). It was my first time here and won't be my last. Very warm greeting by John Paul and we got the €35 two course pre-theatre menu, which was great value considering the excellent quality. We had pork and chicken mains, with chocolate cake and ice cream desserts. Beautifully presented and delicious. The free prosecco offeed for our birthday celebrations was a lovely touch. Thank you to the staff for looking after us so well.

A bit disappointing, really. The lamb meatballs starter that we shared was really good, with excellent red pepper dip and beetroot hummus. The salmon in a water cress veloute was really well done. The sirloin steak however, although fundamentally food meat, was spoilt by gristle and incomplete fat rendering. The bearnaise sauce had split and although reasonably flavourful was off-puttingly lumpy in texture

Very uneven meal here last night. Disappointing to discover upon getting to the table that the evening's menu differed significantly from the one posted online, and didn't feature any of the more tempting sounding dishes that had drawn us to this restaurant in the first place. My steak was ordered medium rare but was served medium well. My partner's sweet potato gnocchi dish tasted pretty nice but the gnocchi were green and tasted more like spinach than the advertised sweet potato. Creme brulee for dessert was very good, service was very friendly and efficient.

1900 is a beautiful restaurant with a chic, elegant atmosphere. The menu is straightforward and easy to understand, and everything I ate was delicious. The staff are attentive and genuinely care about their guests. If you have any questions about allergens, don’t hesitate to ask, they’re knowledgeable and happy to help. For me, it’s a perfect 10/10. 👍

After walking length and breath or Grafton stand Dawson street looking at menus outside restaurants I decided to take the easy option and go to restaurant next door to my hotel . The Harcourt on Harcourt street Welcomed by maitradee John Paul who instantly created a calm and welcoming atmosphere . Eatedcomfortably at elegant table lovely lighting Being a keen cook I am notorious amongst my family for being disappointed by eating out Not this time The most perfectly cook fish presentation absolutely stunning but not Fri Fri A desert of rum Baba that was light as angel feathers had my fellow diners doing spoon battle to steal it We were waited on beautifuley without any fuss offered jug water and basked of delicious bread and dips for free Our bill. Was less than any of the so called bargain restaurant on Dawson Street We went back next night had equally fab experience and I am planning return trip from Brighton to hotel also great. In December can't stop thinking of rum Baba One happy woman.

The food was absolutely enjoyable from start to finish. Jean Paul was so welcoming ( as was the rest of the staff) and made the experience even better. The ambience was warm and inviting. Overall it was a lovely dining experience and will definitely return.

We visited last evening just after 6pm. We did not have a reservation but we were warmly welcomed by the staff. It was our first visit but certainly wont be our last. We were very impressed by the service all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious. My husband had the halibut I had the chicken ballotine they were both excellent. We shared a mascarpone and passionfruit cheese cake which we thoroughly enjoyed. There is a great choice of wines and cocktails. We still had plenty of time to make it to our 8pm concert in the national concert hall. A special thank you to John Paul the lovely Italian manager who was ensuring everyone had a great experience. We look forward to returning very soon.

Food was brilliant. However, the service was somewhat sporadic and lack lustre; we seemed to just be walked past a lot even though we had clearly empty plates and had to ask to see a pudding menu after 15 minutes. The loos were shared with a bar of some sort next door, which resulted in a lengthy queue (and not overly pleasant facilities), which isn't ideal when you've got food coming. Then, to top it off as we were leaving, there was someone from the bar next door very worse for wear decorating the pavement just outside the restaurant. Live pianist and singer was a nice touch tho. It had so much potential to be great

Ok this was hands down one if the best restaurants that i have ever been to in dublin. The number one honestly and i have been to few Michelin stars one. IWe booked a table for VDay, order some drinks and some starters which took lot of time say 30 mins or so but the place was packed honestly. The manager guy asked us if they want something on the house and we got 2 red glasses on top of proseco they gave in the beginning for free. They were so nice and gentle. I ordered tortellini and it was the best i have ever eaten. Then i got halibut with rice amazing. My gf same she hot a medium strak she said its the best she ever had in Dublin portion size and taste wise. It came with chips and mushroom on sides which was amazing. Honestly loved it. Will definitely go agan with wider group and its so close to harcourt luas stop its just amazing. The vibe inside and with live piano music. Amazing!
