1909 in Dublin

Had a fabulous meal. Really enjoyed our 2nd visit as a group of friends. Stayed on set menu which was good value. Fish and chips had lovely coating. Burger and salmon all excellent. Starters delicious also. Well worth a visit.

Very pleasant meal, in lovely surroundings. We went as a family to celebrate an anniversary. The two boys (10 and 14) loved their burger! I had an excellent fish of the day.

Nice place, great service, and good food at reasonable prices. It's not the quietest place but quiet enough to have a conversation.

Really enjoyed my main meal in 1909 and the staff were lovely. I had the fish of the day and it was a huge portion and absolutely delish. I didn’t love my starter but my boyfriend had the wings and chicken parm and finished every bite!

Saturday hot evening. We sat down with friends inside but we didn't get the menu cards. Due to the location of our table visible in the photo, we reached for them ourselves. Free sparkling water to choose from with table water, a plus. The food was delicious, I ordered 🥩 and the others burgers and seafood. Another situation occurred with the dessert which had to be sent back because it did not have the ingredients from the description, such as strawberries. Overall, the restaurant is a plus, only this beginning and end, hence 4 stars

Don't expect more than good honest home cooking here. We loved the staff (thank you Justin for the lovely service and chats).

The prawn toast was to be nice with extra prawns I am lactose intolerance, so they catered for all my needs, which made me feel great. Quite when we were there but this helped so early Sunday evening dinning. Lamb shank fell off the bone, which was lovely. Staff who served us he was a gent. Keep him knows what they are doing. Yes, go back again

Had a lovely meal in 1909 last night with my husband. We were celebrating my birthday and everyone was so friendly. I felt totally spoilt. Food was excellent. We shared a starter and I had the fillet steak for my main course. My husband had the salmon. We shared a lovely cheesecake for desert. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented. Thanks 1909 for a great night!

A nice place in beautiful Dalkey, the food was good but could be more special. I liked the vegan tofu steak but the pork was not a special dish.
