Best breakfast spot in Mullingar. Good value too for generous helpings. Nice staff.

We've been to Belly Cafe a few times for breakfast and it is outstanding, A perfect mix of Irish and American breakfast specialities (the hash browns are a must!). Arrive hungry the portions are big. We visited recently and it was the first time we felt service was poor, we were waiting much longer for our food than you would expect, and with 2 children it was very noticeable. However staff approached us before we approached them. Our food was promptly made and served, and we were given a very generous voucher. We were blown away by this, and it reinforced how much we love this place. We will definitely be returning.

Consistent food over many years, always busy, always good food. No wait this visit but was before the lunch rush.

Went in today for the first time. We ordered the fully belly Irish breakfast. It was perfect. Got a sneaky cappuccino aswell. Any chance yous could open a branch in Dublin?? 👏👏👏

Was kinda ok on the day, took us out of a hole as we were starving. Would I return? Can't in all conscience say I would. Food was pretty mediocre! Service was so so! But as I say it took us out of a hole on the day. P.

Fab food. Lovely coffee. Got pancakes for the kids and they LOVED them. It was very child friendly with a colouring sheet and crayons for the kids and a lollipop for them when we left. I had a vegan option and the flavours were lovely. Very friendly service also. Will be visiting again the next time I am back in Mullingar

Breakfast all day that tastes like a greasy spoon from back home (US). Buttermilk pancakes are light and delicious, bacon is smoked and yummy. Great spot for a quality bite.

What a gem! We were visiting as tourists and we could not have been happier to fall upon this wonderful place conveniently located in central Mullingar! Fantastic food , excellent service and perfect for kids! There are kids menus which the kids loved and the staff were extremely accommodating for kids. We travel a lot and it’s been a long time since we have found somewhere this child friendly. It a really great place!
