We had a great time on the Jameson Whiskey tour in Smithfield today. Our tour guide was brilliant—his passion for Irish heritage, whiskey and storytelling made the experience unforgettable. He was theatrical in the best possible way, bringing the history of Jameson and the craft of whiskey making to life with humour, energy and authenticity.
What made the experience extra special was his gratitude for our visit—he took the time to thank the entire group for showing an interest in Irish heritage, which felt so genuine and heartfelt. As locals, we were thrilled to be there, and his excitement about having us in the group actually made me a bit emotional—silly, I know.
We also loved the personal touches he shared, like the meaning behind his tattoos and piercings, which made him incredibly relatable and easy to connect with. On top of that, he even taught us some clever new whiskey-drinking tricks we’ll definitely remember - dip your whole nose into the glass, none of that sniffing.
The whole tour was fantastic from start to finish, and we’d highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike. The whiskey cocktail at the end was delicious, and we stuck around to try a few more—the Blackcurrant & Apple Smash was superb. A big thank you to the Jameson team for such a memorable experience. Sláinte!

While in Dublin visit the Jamison distillery, it’s a great activity to do while there. Although they don’t make it there anymore it’s still pretty cool to see and learn about the process. You do a little tasting as well of 3 of theirs Jamison’s. You can also get a bottle with your name on it to take back with you.

We booked a cocktail making class for my sisters 30th birthday and we were absolutely amazed. Travelling from London to Dublin for the weekend, we booked the Jameson cocktail making class as one of our activities - and our host and demonstrator Alex was absolutely fantastic. She was incredible. She was fun, informative and transformed the experience from great to fantastic. Extremely interactive, very knowledgeable, incredibly personable and made each individual feel welcomed, involved and ensured we all had a wonderful time. Her energy was infectious and she is an absolute asset to the Jameson Distillery Staff Team. We thank her for being such a brilliant member of staff and making our experience fabulous.
