Academy Plaza Hotel in Dublin

We had an absolutely wonderful stay this past weekend! Everything was perfect, but what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service. A huge thank you to Denisa from the staff. She was incredible-extremely helpful and kind. She gave us great advice and took excellent care of us at the restaurant as well. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to making guests feel welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great atmosphere and top-notch service. Thank you, Denisa, for making our weekend so special!

The hotel isn't perfect; in our room, when we showered, we made a pool because the floor was continuous and there wasn't much of a slope. The soundproofing was really bad, to the point that we had to complain at reception about the noise from the people in the next room (they came back from some pub in the early hours and were talking very loudly, banging doors...). However, the staff were always very attentive, especially Uros, Mateus, and Heitor; in fact, the last two spoke Portuguese, which also made us feel very comfortable. They were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good location, close to everything on foot, and it was very clean, which is a very important point!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Hotel over Christmas everyone was so friendly and could not have made our stay more enjoyable. The rooms are a substantial size for city centre hotel but the beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice , lovely spacious lounge plenty of room for a large gathering, the coffee dock on entrance to hotel was excellent just goes to show a good coffee will attract the customers it was 💯 over all we had a great stay and highly recommended for the locality alone.

We stayed at the Academy Plaza Hotel for one night between Christmas and New Year and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, with great quality and plenty of choice, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every member of staff we met was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really added to the overall atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The location is also fantastic, right in the heart of the city and perfect for getting around. It was a special trip spent with family and friends, and the hotel made it even more memorable. Overall, we had an amazing time and will definitely be returning again in the near future.

We stayed 5 days at the Academy Plaza Hotel and felt at home. To stand out for its proximity to the center, its cleanliness and overdo the treatment of its workers. A special mention for Uros who received us kindly at every breakfast and for Elena froom reception who indicated some of the best places to visit, eat etc. Without these places our trip would not have been the same. Thanks a lot !

Aside from the shower, which initially didn't have hot water, we asked the staff, who immediately fixed it! The food was very good, and the staff was very helpful and patient, especially with someone like me who speaks little English. Juliana, the restaurant waitress, was very helpful and welcoming, and also speaks Italian. The bartender, Joao, is very knowledgeable, makes excellent cocktails, and is available. He speaks a little Italian and is very friendly.

We went for a city break to Dublin, a perfect location for bus stops and close to the train station. Excellent cleanness with very polite staff, professionally helpful. Breakfast was fulfilling. We are very grateful! If we show up in Dublin we would love to stay again and will Recommend to family/friends.
