I could write a quick review simply saying the food was excellent, but this experience deserves so much more. At first glance, the menu might seem a little intimidating with its unfamiliar names, and you might find yourself unsure of what to order. However, after indulging in three snacks, one starter, two mains, and two desserts, I can confidently say every single dish was a masterpiece. The flavors were extraordinary—combinations you’d never imagine working together in such harmony. It was pure bliss for the palate. The roast potato ice cream with caviar and hazelnut oil, for example, left my partner speechless for a full 15 minutes, punctuated only by a hushed, "Wow, wow, wow." We opted for a sharing plate, as we love to share our meals, and I highly recommend doing the same to experience the variety on offer. The ambiance of the place was relaxed and inviting, with a cool, laid-back vibe. The staff were attentive and effortlessly friendly, adding to the charm of the evening. So, don’t be intimidated by the fancy names on the menu—trust the chef. You won’t regret it. This was more than a meal; it was a journey of flavors I’ll remember for a long time.

Vibes is the name of the game here and allta has bags of it.. and some to spare. Everything is so slick here. Great cocktails in the room next door before hand. Top tier high fidelity sound. Most importantly slapping food, delivering dish after dish. 4 of us more or less ordered most of the menu and it was a lot but that didn't stop us putting it away because the flavours just kept hitting and hitting and hitting. Make sure you leave room for dessert. Congrats Niall, Lisa and team allta. You are going places.

One of the most anticipated restaurants but unfortunately left much to be desired. Food: The overall food was OK, some great ones like the cabbage, some good ones like the dumpling but the main course the dry aged steak was fairly disappointing. Service: The service was disappointing for the price. All of the staff were very nice, yet there seems to be either a shortage of staff on the day or a lack of attention to detail. Finished dishes were left on the table, water glasses being left empty for too long. Atmosphere: Excellent atmosphere with no complaints, great open view of the kitchen, kitchen staff auditable and correlated. Desert: Unfortunately no photos but 5/5 as it was very tasty and a good way to finish the dining experience

We had an absolutely delicious meal at Allta, the food is incredible. Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience with the service. Our table was booked for 2015. We arrived at 1930 and had a drink in the bar. We were not seated at our table until after 2100, with one very quick apology from the host. Our waitress made no effort to acknowledge how long we had been waiting. Nothing was offered to us. It took a long time to order and our mains arrived at 2230, 2 hours and 15 minutes after our table was booked. Having worked in the service industry for years, I was really disappointed as we understood it was busy, but if the situation had been handled better by staff, we would have left with a much better attitude towards the restaurant.

Great fine dine experience in Dublin . Place is neat and minimal on their deco style with real plants which is extra points always . Staff are super professional and kind , lovely team and very knowledgeable. Food is really good on presentations and flavours , great quality and fresh ingredients. Wine list is not big but is really nicely curated by their sommelier Colm who guided us very well . The potato cake was our favourite and is just a side but we can’t stop thinking about it . We moved to the bar area for after diner cocktails and meet a couple of neighbours, lovely local vibes , no common to find on a fine dinning restaurant. There were DJ’s playing super nice chill tunes with the nicest DJ booth , speakers and great sound system . If on a budget you must check prices on their website before to book , is not cheap but is worth it . We’ll be back as soon as possible :)

Allta lives up to the hype!! food is excellent small plates are all wonderful! pasta is rich so i would share. Will definitely be back.

Just unreal, my favorite restaurant in the city. I have visited them 4 times now, and each time I love them more and more.

Came here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and we had an amazing time. We ordered the tuna tostada and foie gras which was amazing then shared a turbot which was made to perfection and finished with their bread and butter pudding. Special thanks to Bavinchi for making the night extra special for us. Also would recommend the bar for great cocktails.
