Exceptional Experience at Alta – A Perfect Corporate Dining Spot I dined at Alta last night and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Having been there socially before, I knew it was a great spot — but this time I brought some of my most important clients for the Chef’s Table tasting menu, and it exceeded every expectation. As a corporate experience, it was seamless. The relaxed atmosphere, chilled vibe, and fantastic cocktails set the perfect tone for the evening. Watching Niall and the chefs work with such focus and precision added a really special touch — it felt like being part of something creative and exacting. The food was nothing short of superb. Each course became a talking point — flavours were discussed, critiqued, and celebrated around the table. One highlight was a savoury doughnut, possibly blackened with squid ink and filled with risotto — absolutely incredible. Every dish was thoughtful and exciting, and the dessert was outstanding. Alta nails the balance of being both refined and relaxed, which made it ideal for entertaining clients. I’ll definitely be back — both for business and pleasure!

If you have an adventurous palate, this is the place for you, period! Highly imaginative dishes that truly succeed, from bread and shiitake butter through starters, entrees, and dessert. If they have it on the menu, do not hesitate to order the Basque cheesecake mille-feuilles as a brilliant finish to your feast!

The place is beautiful, the cocktails are amazing and the atmosphere is great but I can't say the same about the service and the food. The waitress who was serving our table was completely rude, didn't give a simple smile and left the table before we even finished our order and the place wasn't even busy. Everyone at the table was shocked by her attitude. The food menu is very short and only chips are suitable for vegetarians. Adding a veggie protein for the burgers would be good.

We tried Allta's new bar and I can honestly say it has become my favourite bar in Dublin since then. Frozen margaritas and an incredible burger - down to earth food done to fine dining standard in a very opulent setting. Great addition to that side of town!

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing tasting menu and great service. We went for the tasting menu and I don't regret it. Every single one was special and I would like to highlight oysters, tuna, scallop, monkfish and all the desserts

The aggressive booking process should have been a warning! Not to mention no published phone number to warn if you are adding a person. The staff were openly displeased when we were one person more then booked. We ate in the bar - passive aggressive staff who informed us we had to have the burgers in the way the chef owner wanted them cooked! They lacked seasoning - no salt was available... The only none alcoholic drink on offer was 'water or lemon juice' - we gave up on our second round of beers as the wait was getting ridiculous. The only plus that justified 3 stars was the triple cooked skin on fries - utterly delicious and well seasoned!

Amazing experience at Allta. Massive thanks to every single one of the staff there who were incredibly attentive and knowledgable. Lovely experience and extremely well portioned dishes. Big shout out to the bluefin taco, cabbage starter, t-bone and the basque cheesecake. Also incredible and innovative cocktails and beautifully sourced wine. We’ll be back!
