Delightful little place. Great food, attentive staff. We came here as friends whilst visiting Dublin for a long weekend. I ordered a make your own breakfast comprising of bacon, sourdough toast, poached egg, Argentinian sausage and a freshly squeezed orange juice to wash it down.
I was slightly jealous of those who ordered pancake, they looked AMAZING!
Thanks for a great experience.

Excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. We arrived without a booking, but were lucky to be accommodated quickly
We had the Choripan Argento and the Harissa Eggs - both were very impressive!
Definitely returning soon!

Food is good, but the staff is arrogant (almost rude pushing to finish the food), though they forget some to bring some of the food. Super tight space as well.

Booked a very last minute trip to Dublin and stumbled upon Alma. So lucky to get a booking and the staff were incredibly accommodating and shuffled a few things around so we could sit inside. I had the vegan hummus toast and my boyfriend had a meat dish and both were UNREAL. Filling, tasty and didn't feel greasy or unhealthy. I don't do food pics but if you're someone who likes Instagram food photos, this place won't disappoint. Presentation was top notch. Coffee great too. 10/10 recommend. I'll be dreaming about that hummus toast for weeks...

This cafe is an elite standout among Dublins growing cafe culture.
Positioned in the trendy district of Portobello in an old terrace house, I had high hopes and was not disappointed.
The cafe is small with limited seating which might be a squeeze in winter, but as it was summer we were able to sit at tables in a lovely sunny spot out front on the street.
Service was friendly and attentive and as delightful as the food.
We both ordered the Choripan Argento with a side of black pudding, the sausage and caramelised onion was perfectly balanced out with the fresh salsa.
Coffee lovers need not search further, the brew is smooth and creamy and the best in Dublin.
To top it off, I asked the host if they were able to make a Bloody Mary which they couldn’t, but was asked if I would like to try their homemade Malbec vermouth to which I happily agreed even tho I’m not a vermouth drinker - and I’m so glad I did.
This smooth, flavoursome drop, served over ice with orange peel and a sprig of rosemary was absolutely sublime - so sublime that we bought 3 bottles to take home with us.
We absolutely love this Dublin gem, and will definitely be back next time we’re here.
If you’re searching for a top notch cafe, this is a must on your bunch list!
