Delicious food, especially Halibut. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Wine could be better as I didn't enjoy Pinot grigio or Sav Blanc Overall it was delicious and a beautiful place.

Visited The Poitin Stil, this evening for a well earned meal. My wife had the Lamb shank, which fell off the bone and our guest had a "well done" 16ozs T Bone stake with pepper sauce and chips. I opted for a "medium rare" 16ozs T Bone with garlic butter and the best mashed potatoe I've tasted to date. My beef was excellent, presented by very helpful staff who returned to our table a number of times during our meal to ensure all was in order. My wife finished with a "Rockey Road sundae" while us men had tea and chocolate bickies. Overall excellent, if calling to dine here, make sure you bring an appetite. I highly recommend.

The food and service is excellent. The roast beef is the best around.
