Anglers Rest in Dublin

Five stars all round!! Love this restaurant ... duck liver pate (sublime) to start followed by sole on the bone (succulent). What's not to like 👌

Had a lovely birthday dinner here on 25th Jan, staff were fabulous, room upstairs was beautiful, steaks were really very good, I had the chicken supreme it was dry, might have been just a glitch, as all the other dishes were excellent

Great food and service every time.!!

Went at a busy time without booking [Sunday afternoon on BH weekend]. We waited 30 mins for table which was perfectly fine and we were grateful to be seated. We waited then for 1hr 15 mins for a basic meal for two[ fish and chips - very small portion would have preferred to pay more for a decent portion and cauliflower steak , which again was nice but portion was too small], either the waitress forgot our order or something else happened in the kitchen. Offered drink or dessert on the house due to this. It was a little disappointing but a good, popular spot that I have been to a few times, including a wedding. The music is a nice touch.

Lovely restaurant, very touristy, food is great

We went here Christmas Eve, amazing service and the food was absolutely beautiful. We booked a table of 7 people, no waiting around and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Great food, pleasant atmosphere, average prices. We will visit again soon. Thank you!

Fabulous wedding venue. Staff were friendly and efficient. Only drawback was that bar prices were a bit steep

I love eating at the Angler’s Rest. We are always greeted so nicely and the waiting staff are always excellent and so friendly. It’s so cosy inside and the food is top notch, we ordered 4 different starters, 4 different mains and 1 kids meal and I couldn’t fault any of them. It’s excellent value for money too, the bill with drinks came to €164 which I thought was well worth it.

Another visit to Wrights Anglers Rest and another enjoyable experience. The food was perfect and staff are super. Lots of parking and good value too. Probably being unfair at four star.
