Anglers Rest in Dublin

We attended Wrights today as a family before going to the Zoo lights and we weren’t blown away by the food. Most of us got the Turkey and Ham which was delicious but for €26 you’d expect a bigger slice of ham and more veggies. We got 3 Brussel sprouts & 4 Carrots on the plate and half of us got a roast potato and the other half didn’t. We also ordered 2 side portions of Onion Rings and we are still waiting for them to arrive. The staff were lovely but they were all over the shop more than once they tried to give us another tables food & drinks. Overall the atmosphere was lovely and Welcoming but I don’t think we will be back as we can get more for our money somewhere else

Delicious seafood, great atmosphere, and a must if you enjoy good food. We went to Anglers Restaurant craving fish and seafood, and we left more than satisfied. The service was very attentive, and the staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. The food... simply excellent. We ordered several fish and seafood dishes—everything arrived hot and fresh, with authentic flavor. The spicy mussels were a total hit, as were the lobster rolls recommended by the waiter. The restaurant's atmosphere is pleasant, relaxed, and tasteful: ideal for both a quiet dinner and a night out with friends. The prices are in line with the quality, so for what they offer, it's well worth it. If you're looking for a place with quality seafood, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere, Anglers Restaurant is a top choice.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely dinner at Angler’s Rest! Highlights: The Angus Beef Burger and fresh Fish & Chips were excellent. Sides: Caesar Salad and Veg Tempura were perfectly done. For Kids: Great options—the little ones loved the Sausage & Chips. Great atmosphere and service. A gem in Dublin!

We held our wedding reception at the Angler's Rest in September this year. The food, service, decor and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. So many of our guests said it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding!! The service on the night was so accommodating. The weather on the day was pretty dreadful, but the entire venue was so cosy...the fireplace was lit, there were candles everywhere and it was so cosy. A huge thank you to Agata and team in particular for all their support in the lead up to the day! Thanks so much, Colm & Emma

Had high hopes for here, had the mussels to start and finish and chips for the main. To be honest I wasn't blown away by either. Service was very good and a nice atmosphere in the place.

We have been many times and each time it gets a little bit more disappointing Today we arrived and as it was a beautiful day we asked to sit outside - told in a curt manner that we would have to come in to order- ok We did not have huge issue with that but others were promptly seated and orders taken outside which was strange at best Food was ok but service was really poor - no checking if we were ok or needed extra serviettes or cutlery after starter - uninterested staff with zero motivation It’s a shame as it’s a lovely place

We recently had our wedding at The Anglers Rest. The setting is so beautiful, but what really made our day so special was the service from the team, especially Agata. Agata and the team could not have done more to make our day so easy and relaxed, nothing was too much trouble. The food and wine were excellent, so many of our guests commented on the quality! We danced the night away to DJ Niall, who the venue recommend to us, he was brilliant! Thanks to the anglers for everything, we will definitely be back for dinner soon.
