Anglers Rest in Dublin

Con un gruppo di colleghi siamo stati qui a cena. Il locale è molto caratteristico (lo usano per eventi come matrimonio) e la musica irlandese la fa da padrona. Il servizio ha alti e bassi. Segnano i piatti in ordine di seduta ma poi durante il servizio fanno confusione e devono chiedere chi ha preso cosa. Piatti che sono chiaramente ben eseguiti ma mancano di quel qualcosa da renderli interessanti. La zuppa di sedano e lo stufato abbastanza anonimi mentre la cheesecake tutto sembra tranne che una cheesecake. È un buon dolce ma non è una cheesecake. Carta dei vini con scelte da GDO. Lovely place , had a table booked for 12 people and it was just perfect, food was so nice and great choices , one of our group is a coeliac and some choices available also…service was fantastic and staff were so nice , couldn’t fault it at all , will definitely be back. Thank you for looking after our group !

If l could give this Wedding Venue 6 stars l would. We had our wedding there last weekend. It was such an authentic, intimate setting for our big day. My husband's Australian family absolutely loved our venue. Making everything look so effortless takes a lot of work. So, l would like to thank all the team at The Angler's. Especially, Agata, Betty and Anna.

I had the vegetable tempura and the cauliflower steak, and I enjoyed both. They pre salt their fish and chips, which one of our party didn't enjoy, as they don't take salt on their food. So that might be something they might think of putting on their menu so people are aware.

Beautiful restaurant and event space. The food was delicious and the staff were outstanding. Very kid friendly as well.

This is Anna……. (Our waitress) Let’s start with the food—it was fantastic. The wing's so perfect I almost shedded a tear (from the spice), then I briefly considered licking the plate, and the dessert? Let’s just say I’d trade my firstborn (don’t have one yet) for another plate of that crème brûlée. But let’s be real—the true star of the night was our server, Anna. If charm, wit, and impeccable service had a baby, it would be her. She didn’t just take our order; she graced us with her presence. She knew the menu better than I know my own social security number, had the comedic timing of a seasoned stand-up comic, and somehow managed to keep our drinks full without us even noticing. At one point, I was convinced she was a magician (Fantastic at disappearing and coming right back). She handled our ridiculous requests with a smile, rolled with our terrible jokes like a pro, and made us feel like VIPs the entire night. If this restaurant has any sense, they’ll build a statue of Anna out front. Food: 10/10. Service: Anna/10. Will definitely be back—mostly for the food, but definitely for Anna.

This place is beautiful! Food is fab, staff was amazing..

I heard a lot about this place and we popped in on a very busy day (with a wedding happening) which is probably why I didn't feel like a 5 star place. The food although delicious took a while to arrive even though we only order starters. And the waiter forgot the pints. But other than that, I'm definitely coming back soon to try on a not so busy day. The ceasar salad starter was very very good.

One of the best rib eye I've had in awhile and at a reasonable price. Staff were excellent, very attentive and obliging. Donkey years since I was here last but I'll be back again very soon

A casual Tuesday evening out thanks to a lovely Christmas voucher supplied by our daughter & partner. What a treat, food was excellent, staff so attentive & friendly. Lovely night all round.
