Anglers Rest in Dublin

Table booked via website. Venue was fairly busy, resulting in service being slower than expected. Fish pie was a hit but those that had the burger said it was dry.

We held our wedding reception at the Angler's Rest in September this year. The food, service, decor and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. So many of our guests said it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding!! The service on the night was so accommodating. The weather on the day was pretty dreadful, but the entire venue was so cosy...the fireplace was lit, there were candles everywhere and it was so cosy. I love eating at the Angler’s Rest. We are always greeted so nicely and the waiting staff are always excellent and so friendly. It’s so cosy inside and the food is top notch, we ordered 4 different starters, 4 different mains and 1 kids meal and I couldn’t fault any of them. It’s excellent value for money too, the bill with drinks came to €164 which I thought was well worth it.

Great food,great service and the atmosphere says a lot about how good this place is.

Credit where credit is due Wright's Anglers Rest are providing good quality food a reasonable cost. They are also a fabulous wedding venue. We really enjoyed our evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and timely. The ambiance was absolutely charming—the music, the warmth, wood smoke, sunlight. We hope to come back soon.

We were there for a 70th birthday celebration. Atmosphere there was absolutely lovely. The food and service was excellent. We had a really excellent evening. Had never thought about going to The Anglers Rest in the past. It's now firmly on my list.

Another visit to Wrights Anglers Rest and another enjoyable experience. The food was perfect and staff are super. Lots of parking and good value too. Probably being unfair at four star.
