Aobaba in Dublin

genuinely one of the best vietnamese food spots in dublin at the moment. the duck pho is savoury, flavourful, rich and addictive. the generous helping of duck meat, mixed with the fresh coriander and lemongrass flavours cause a vibrant explosion of flavour. the pork bao buns are sweet, spicy, salty and fresh. the buns are extremely pillowy and the pork melts in your mouth. lastly the spring rolls are so crispy and flavourful. they are paired with a tangy, sour and vinegary chili sauce that is their perfect match. the staff are kind and attentive. note that it is cash only, with an ATM very near by. i would definitely recommend this spot for a hearty and wholesome meal. seating is limited, but definitely worth it :)

Lovely hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant on Capel Street. The pho Bo tai and banh mi are absolutely lovely as well as the rice paper rolls. Cash only but there is a bank just across the road.

All I had got was a smoothie and it changed my life. Upon drinking that smoothie my feet went numb and hands started to wrinkle; the curvature of the world bending around the smoothie brought me and the shop owner to our knees. I wonder what their food tastes like :)

Cracking Bánh mì Cash only, only downside

I was here yesterday with my friend and she has coughed a little bit after meal then we were served ice water.the staff who wore hat has been really helpful and we appreciate his kindness.

This was way over-hyped. The pho is not flavorful at all; cloudy, watered-down broth. I don't know how they make their broth, but if I found out they used a powdered base I'd believe it. With the great beef in Ireland I don't understand why it's impossible to find pho with tripe and soft tendon. It feels like the cramped and cash-only nature tricks some into thinking they're getting an exclusive or authentic experience, but it did not have the flavor or low price to support it. I won't be back.
