Isn't this place amazing? A warm welcome from all the staff. Café latte for me and my wife. Chips for the boys. Everyone happy. And every parent knows very well that it's rare that (at least) one person isn't having an affair. There is no way to beat it, I tell you. Plenty of Irish to hear and see. I was heartbroken, finally. My music you all. Gura long lasting Any Story.

Hands down the best cafe I've been to in years. My Irish is awful but I still felt encouraged and enjoyed having a conversation in broken Irish. The lady who served me was an absolute delight, I could have stayed talking to her for much longer. It's the cheapest coffee I've had in a long time but absolutely delicious. I'd come back to Tallaght village specifically for this lovely cafe and have lunch.

Popped in for a coffee here today. Really lovely place and so cosy on a freezing cold day. Staff are lovely and the coffee is great. I didn't eat today but will definitely be back to try the food

The Marker Rooftop Bar

25/04/2025: A Truly Memorable Stay at Anantara The Marker Dublin From the moment I arrived at Anantara The Marker Dublin, I knew I was in for a special experience—but the team went above and beyond to make it truly unforgettable. The room was elegant and serene, with a stunning view that set the tone for a luxurious and relaxing stay. Breakfast via room service was absolutely divine—beautifully presented and delicious, making each morning feel like a treat. One of the highlights was the spa treatment, which was not only deeply relaxing but delivered with such professionalism and care that my wife was left feeling completely rejuvenated. I’d also love to recognize the incredible staff who made our stay extra special. Kevin from Concierge was consistently warm and helpful. Gabriella and Astrid made our day with a thoughtful and unexpected room upgrade. Sabrina at Reception welcomed us with such grace and kindness. Deveshwar, the Restaurant Supervisor provided exceptional hospitality, and Saurav at the bar crafted an amazing experience. A special thanks to Alam and Raymond from the night staff, who went above and beyond to attend to my children’s little requests with patience and genuine care. Every aspect of our stay felt seamless, thoughtful, and elevated. I would absolutely recommend Anantara The Marker Dublin to anyone looking for a five-star experience wrapped in genuine Irish hospitality.

Brookwood

13/05/2025: Great steak but service left a bit to be desired.
07/05/2025: My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Brookwood on Baggot Street, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel immediately at ease — their professionalism and kindness truly enhanced our evening. We opted for the Tomahawk for Two deal, which included a generous Tomahawk steak, fries for two, two sauces, and a bottle of house red wine — all for €99.00. It’s an incredible value, especially considering the quality of both the food and service. While we had requested the steak to be cooked medium, it arrived slightly more on the medium-rare side. However, the flavours were so rich and the meat so tender that we decided to continue without sending it back — and we’re glad we did. It was absolutely delicious, expertly seasoned and perfectly complemented by the sauces and crispy fries. What truly touched us was the thoughtful gesture of a complimentary dessert to mark our anniversary. It was a lovely surprise and added a personal touch to an already special night. Brookwood strikes the perfect balance between an upscale dining experience and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that the staff take pride in making each guest feel celebrated, whether it's a regular dinner out or a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. We left feeling full, happy, and genuinely appreciated. We’d highly recommend Brookwood for anyone looking to mark a special occasion — or simply enjoy a high-quality meal with excellent service in a stylish yet cozy setting.
