07/05/2025: My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Brookwood on Baggot Street, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel immediately at ease — their professionalism and kindness truly enhanced our evening. We opted for the Tomahawk for Two deal, which included a generous Tomahawk steak, fries for two, two sauces, and a bottle of house red wine — all for €99.00. It’s an incredible value, especially considering the quality of both the food and service. While we had requested the steak to be cooked medium, it arrived slightly more on the medium-rare side. However, the flavours were so rich and the meat so tender that we decided to continue without sending it back — and we’re glad we did. It was absolutely delicious, expertly seasoned and perfectly complemented by the sauces and crispy fries. What truly touched us was the thoughtful gesture of a complimentary dessert to mark our anniversary. It was a lovely surprise and added a personal touch to an already special night. Brookwood strikes the perfect balance between an upscale dining experience and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that the staff take pride in making each guest feel celebrated, whether it's a regular dinner out or a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. We left feeling full, happy, and genuinely appreciated. We’d highly recommend Brookwood for anyone looking to mark a special occasion — or simply enjoy a high-quality meal with excellent service in a stylish yet cozy setting.
