Nice place to meet up. Menu is limited and they love adding extra flavours to the salad options unnecessarily, e.g. onions, coriander and other strong herbs. Their signature beef stew is way too heavy. The thick gravy coats everything and gets to be too much. They used to have a great variety of desserts but seem to concentrate on sponge based cakes now.

Great place to meet up with friends and family, and so some shopping. Huge selection of food but can't comment as we just had pastries and coffee. 5 and 3 year old loved the maze, the playground and we liked being able to chat to friends ! Something different haven't seen before and then went into kilkenny castle. Would to back

Lovely place to stop off for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a spot of shopping. Beautiful variety of plants. The garden furniture is stunning. Staff always have great knowledge in every section.

03/11/2024: 44 minutes from the Dublin Airport. This place is a luxury spot for bargain prices. But they do a lot of weddings and are often booked full on weekends. If you are lucky enough to get a room GO. We have been here two times. Huge pool. Fitness center. Wonderful grounds down to the lake. And also right next door to the Belvedere Castle. Easy access to major highway to Dublin. We like to.come here on first and last night in Ireland to decompress. Highly recommended. Luxury. At $150!

Ballyseede Castle Hotel

01/11/2024: My husband and I stayed at Ballyseedy Castle on Sunday 6th October and from the two girls at check in to the lovely lady who Checked us out our stay was wonderful and enjoyable. Beautiful food in the bar and special shout out to Marnie for the fabulous upgrade. Looking forward to returning again shortly
28/10/2024: I stayed in the haunted room. TWICE now! I love it. This Is a great castle hotel, and not insanely expensive lìke so many cadtle hotels in Ireland. Be sure to walk the grounds and see all the outdoor art... its a place to enjoy and relax for a day or two. Taxi distance from Tralee train station, so you don't even need a car to stay here. Highly recommend.
