Avoca in Rathcoole

Great selection of hot and cold food to sit in and enjoy or take away. The food prices are above average but the portions and taste make it worth the extra expense. The clothing and toy section is way overpriced though with a limited selection.

Delightful foodie options to buy to take home!

Normally the take home dishes are delicious but the Beef Bourginon that I got yesterday had very tough rubbery meat. I was disappointed that it was not up to standard

Avoca is a beautiful store always love to shop there also they're food is really good to well worth a visit 👍😁

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids, everyone happy after all, but we all noticed a few points: - The staff were friendly, but the services very slow: it took about 20 minutes for them to take the order and about 40 minutes for the food to come; - Men's toilets, very clean; - My wife said that the ladies toilets were disgusting; - I ordered a full Irish breakfast, which is not full really: no potato farls(?), no white pudding (??), only one black pudding (??), no beans (???). - My coffee was very 'weak' (flavourless); - everyone else ordered sandwiches and they were happy with their choices; - My son's avocado and sweet potato fries were delicious.

Food lovely but v open seating and loud noise levels

Great place for a pre Christmas prowl and lunch. So many glittering treasures to be had! Good almond croissant too.

Great shop with high end goods and a lovely Café.

We had afternoon tea and coffee with very delicious cake. Roseberry cheese cake with brownie was soo tasty. The gift shop has plenty of good staff ( plates, cups, cloth, food, blanket.. )

We stopped off here for some lunch while visiting the castle and gardens. The service was prompt and there was a good selection of food and cakes to choose from. I went for the chicken salad sandwich which was delicious and a good size serving. The cost is average for this type of cafe so the prices were to be expected. Would definitively visit again.
