If you're visiting the stunning Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, a stop at Avoca Café isn't just recommended; it's an essential part of the experience. Located inside the historic Powerscourt House, this café manages to combine extraordinary cuisine with one of the most spectacular views in Ireland. The View and Atmosphere: 10/10 The outdoor terrace is the real highlight of the venue. Sitting here, sipping a coffee and admiring the terraced gardens of Powerscourt with the silhouette of Sugarloaf Mountain in the background is breathtaking. The interior is equally delightful: welcoming, bright, and meticulously designed, ideal for both a relaxed breakfast and a family lunch. The Food: Freshness and Tradition The menu celebrates the finest local ingredients with the artisanal touch that has made the Avoca brand famous. There's an excellent selection for everyone, including flavorful vegetarian dishes. Among the must-try dishes: The savory dishes: The baked salmon is simply exquisite, as are their soups of the day (the tomato and basil soup is a comforting classic), accompanied by the ever-present and delicious Irish brown bread. The gourmet sandwiches and veggie burgers are also excellent. Prepare to be enchanted by the dessert bar. The variety of cakes, pastries, and giant scones served with clotted cream and jam is extraordinary. Pairing a slice of their artisanal cakes with an excellent coffee is the perfect way to recharge. Despite the restaurant's often busy schedule—a sign of its well-deserved popularity—the staff is always incredibly courteous, efficient, and welcoming. Accessibility is also commendable: the establishment is well-equipped to accommodate strollers and wheelchairs with ease. In conclusion: Whether it's a delicious brunch, a light lunch, or just a coffee with a view, the Avoca Café in Powerscourt elevates your day, transforming a lunch break into a special moment. A perfect combination of excellent food, Irish hospitality, and a view that will stay with you forever. Highly recommended!

If honest, I felt this visit was a slight let-down on their usual high standards. Less options for salad and defo a different recipe for their baked ham. All in all, not great value for money

It was a pleasure to have a treat while looking at the landscape from the terrace, and the tart was very tasty. In the interior, it seems that acoustics haven’t been considered, and it is impossible to have a conversation; it was even hard to talk with the employee to request my order. Overall, great place, and I would come back. Ruminicc

The coffee is delicious, I didn't like the desserts. The meringue roll is tasteless at all, a lot of whipped cream. But in such establishments you don't pay for the food, but for the view, it is incredible here.

Burger King

07/06/2026: The only Burger King i ever visit. The food arrived super fast and tasted incredibly fresh, not greasy or rushed at all. The staff was super friendly and handled a busy rush professionally. The food arrived really quick, not greasy or rushed at all. The staff is super friendly especially Johnny who was so helpful and made sure our food was ok, and handled a busy rush with total ease. On top of that, the place is spotlessly clean. It’s rare to find a fast food place that nails the food, speed, and service all at once. Highly reccomend!
28/02/2026: Been there for second time, both times waiting for over 25 minutes, could be under staffed or no experience but definitely is place for better, other then that the food was good
