Avoca Malahide in

Located on the grounds of malahide Castle makes it one of the best locations..it's very expensive for what you get..not really what I'd call value for money but pretty good for an occasional visit whenever payday comes around..you could get a takeaway coffee and muffin, or eat in the cafe overlooking the butterfly greenhouse, that you normally have to you have to pay €10 to go into in the gardens. They do cater for coeliac and vegans..plenty of seats in the restaurant.. Will go back for an afternoon of Fresh air and cafiene.

The desserts are great, the strawberry meringue is divine!!!

Great place for an afternoon visit. Plenty of parking and access to the shop. Very friendly staff and great food ,drinks and gift ware.

I had a lovely chat over tea/coffee and treats on Sunday. All sorts of delicious indulgences. Lots to choose from for every taste. Staff are always pleasant.

Normally love this place, I've had lunch here a number times and have always left full and delighted. Breakfast today. Ordered kids pancakes, a giant cookie and Breakfast bap. The kids pancakes tasted funny. My daughter would bot eat them even when covered in maple syrup, I thought she was being silly until I tried them and they were disgusting. My eldest daughter got the giant cookie and was happy with her choice. I had the breakfast bap. The sausage and bacon was fine by themselves but the bap was a garlic bread of sorts and garlic bread first thing in the morning isn't my idea of Breakfast. Based on today I don't think I'd ever comeback for breakfast.
