Awesome Coffee Beans in Carrickmacross

15/01/2026: Just spent four nights at the Shirley Arms Hotel (Mon-Fri). From first contact (email query), the team have been fantastic 👏 The hotel is lovelly, and all of the team are super welcoming, friendly and helpful, but a special shout out to Aoibheann in the bar restaurant, who was super fantastic 👍 Food was lovelly, and by far my favorite was the Sizzler steak dish with creamy garlic potato gratin (see picture) 🫡 I should say, that I had already ate some, and cut the potatoes up, so the picture probably doesn't do the food full justice 🤔 Some people have commented (negatively) on the cost of the food, and yep - they are not the cheapest, but - and here's the thing, you get what you pay for, . . . For me, I received value for money, and wouldn't think twice about staying here again in the future 😎 Lots of onsite parking, great rooms and attentive housekeeping for the rooms, and if you have forgotten anything a 'Super Valu' supermarket next door, . . . . . . . Seriously, what's not to like 🙂

12/01/2026: A hidden beauty, staff are extremely helpful and accommodation, food is very well priced , room is lovely and well furnished, shower is very warm which i personally like, and ample parking with gated and cctv , 5 stars all day long
