I found the process no problem. We were impressed with the amount of food options available. As we are gluten and dairy intolerant, this is usually a real problem.

The airport has two terminals. It's not that big, but it's very organized. There's an area with restaurants, cafes, bars, stores selling the world's top brands, Duty Free, perfumeries, and liquor stores. We made a stopover in Dublin on our way to Liverpool. Due to issues beyond the airline's control due to a cyberattack, chaos erupted at several airports, and we missed our connecting flight. We spent several hours waiting to find another flight to Liverpool.

The facilities are user-friendly and the service is polite. The only drawback is that the taxi service is inconvenient.

Great airport, best security in the world, always courteous and respectful with a great sense of humor!

Pretty recent airport. T2 was better than T1 and its high tike T1 needs a refurbish.

The gentleman at customs asked stupid questions that were not really situation related For the rest nice airport. Luggage arrived fairly quickly. Bumped into a super friendly taxi driver

A bit outdated but staff is very friendly

Dublin Airport is one of the busiest in Europe, yet it manages to stay fairly well-organized and efficient. The terminals are modern, with a good range of shops, cafés, and restaurants to make waiting more comfortable. Security can be strict and queues long at peak times, but staff are generally professional and helpful. Connections to the city are straightforward, with buses, taxis, and car rentals readily available. The airport also offers plenty of seating and charging stations, which is convenient for travelers. Overall, Dublin Airport is a busy but well-equipped hub that handles large crowds effectively.

The checks were very thorough. Everything is brand new and well-maintained. Ryanair's luggage drop is a real mess, but the airport has nothing to do with it.
