Clean, well laid out with friendly obliging staff. When travelling, it's a blessing to find folk who are prepared to help. My experience going through this airport has found this to be true time and again. Update: 02/2025 Yes, it is *still* true, even post pandemic! Those were fun days! 😉 Polite, considerate and ever prepared to go that bit extra.

Decent sized airport, easy to navigate.

Maybe a bit lucky after arriving straight off the plane, through self-service security and out to take the Aircoach from terminal 1

Planes land, planes take off. It works well. Very busy in December but efficient. Terminal 1 is certainly looking its age and there's evidence of a much needed refurb underway.
