Great food and staff! We ate here 10 years ago on our first trip to Dublin and we were so pleased to see it doing great.
We were hesitant to return due to bad reviews we found on line- but those reviews had no reflection on the place.
The pub was clean, had plenty of friendly and attentive servers. The Pints were cold, the food was delicious and the service was great. The pub was backed and the workers were spot on. A full house of happy people! The curry was delish, and the burger was worth it!

Legendary gastro pub in Killester Village. Situated at the Collins Avenue, Howth Road junction, in the middle of the shops. Big bar with great outside space, ideal in summer and a large bar inside. Food was decent. Bangers and Mash, filled that gap nicely. Good fast service and good atmosphere. It's a Killester local, with a few from Clontarf and Donnycarney. Well connected with bus routes along the Howth Road and a 5 min walk to Killester Dart station. Full of men, ladies, and a few bored couples and little groups of blokes all staring at the telly to watch the sport. Grand spot.

Lovely spot. I had the catch of the day and my husband had the scampi. Both excellent meals. Scampi batter was so crispy. Nice going mid week because it was quiet enough. Good music, not too loud. The Guinness was excellent. My husband rated the Guinness 9 out of 10.

Top class food and service, this is the third time here for lunch in the last couple of months. Food is excellent, chicken wings, soup, chowder and a couple of pints. Staff are really efficient and friendly.

Great pub atmosphere and fun listening to the locals cheer on their favorite team. We came for dinner and a pint. The food was good and filling. Both my husband and I order the special, pan fried sea bass and veg. I found the veg to be over cooked and smothered in butter, too much for me. The bass was a little salty. There was a course ground salt and I had to "spit" the pieces out because it wasnt to pleasant.

Very busy spot! Got a chowder and my sister got a ham and cheese toasty, both were delicious. The brown bread with the chowder was absolutely fantastic and the waitress was lovely! Only slight let down was the screaming kid in the booth next to us, but that's a parents problem, not the pubs

Great service, attentive staff, the food was delivered promptly. Chicken wings are delish, the sauce could be slightly hotter though, but that's a matter of taste
