Not the cheapest chipper in Dublin but it earns the price. Clean inside with plenty of seating, no squeezing onto a bench with your tray, and the fish itself was properly tasty with a generous portion that actually felt worth what I paid. There's history behind the name too, the The batter was light and the fish flaked apart properly rather than turning to mush. Sure hit the spot. Solid choice if you want a sit-down fish and chips without queuing at one of the more famous spots, and the extra seating room makes it an easy stop if you're eating with more than one or two people.

The food was okay but the price unbelievable €3.10 for a can coke and €17 for cod and chips wawouuu

Good food right in the middle of town, very busy the day I was there due to a concert, food was nice and edible

Wonderful fish and chips.. especially the chips..

I ordered for pickup, and they had it ready fast. I was pleased to see such a well-rated shop near my hotel. I'm staying at the Clayton. I was also happy to see they had Hake. It was crispy on both sides, just the way I like it. I had extra curry sauce from an earlier spice bag, so I haven't tried theirs, but the next time I order, I will. It's clearly the neighborhood spot for a reason.

This is a traditional fish and chips place. However, the batter is simple and lacks flavor, even though the fish itself is properly cooked. The quantity of chips is generous. They provide a variety of different sauces on the side. The seating arrangement is simple, featuring tables for two.
