We had the mini breakfast, and it was worth it. Despite being centrally located, the price was reasonable. The breakfast was good, and the service was friendly.

Went there yesterday - fish and chips (traditional).
The fish itself was quite okay, the quality of the fillet was good, no bones and tender. Unfortunately, the fish was so unseasoned that it seemed rather bland to our palates. Add to that the price of €16.50, which wasn't at all justified... but is probably normal for Dublin standards. A little bit of tartar sauce was also served. The fries were also unseasoned. Plus a slice of lemon. Oh my gosh. The locals seem to think it's good, and we don't want to forget that taste is subjective, but - it could be much better. If the fish had been well seasoned, as had the fries, twice as much tartar sauce, and mayo/ketchup for the fries, that would have been a bit of a help.
The staff was young and friendly. You order and pay first, and then the waiter brings your food to your table. It was quick, too; the place was sparsely populated at the time.
The restrooms were mediocrely maintained, and the floor was so slippery that you really had to be careful not to slip.
The service and the ambiance in general were definitely a bit better than the food itself.
The experience was okay, but it doesn't really encourage us to come back. There are better options.

Fresh fish n chips on the city's main thoroughfare ... from great views of o connell st (ample seating upstairs) to great selection of fresh fish. The batter is light n crispy. ✨️

I went for fish and chips and was satisfied. It's more reasonably priced than the pubs in the tourist center. You order at the fast-food-style counter, but the place is cozy and the dishes are brought to your table. It's on a main street. Yes, I recommend it. Remember, nothing is cheap in Ireland.

Stopped by Beshoffs on O’Connell Street. As a coeliac, I really appreciated that they offered gluten-free options—that’s a big plus. Unfortunately, the fish and chips themselves didn’t live up to expectations. The fish was a bit bland and the chips didn’t have much bite. Great to have a safe option for gluten-free, but the food could use some improvement.

Before going there was almost sure it was fast food. However, the fish with chips were delicious, more fancy-restaurant-like. Great service concept which makes it different from typical fast food spots. Might be over-crowded due to the location but the tables with a view onto the Dublin Spire recompensate the location fully.
