Bibi's Café Dun Laoghaire in Dublin

gorgeous views, brilliant coffee and stunning staff!!

Been a few times and the staff is always lovely! Just had Turkish Eggs and the poached eggs were cold, disappointing considering it isn't a cheap place.

Gorgeous cafe/restaurant with great service, healthy and really tasty brunch and lunch options served super fast. I had the Squash Eggs which comes with Sourdough toasted bread, roasted sweet potatoes, poached eggs, a delicious yoghurt based sauce and they gave me lemon infused oil instead of chilli oil. Absolutely perfect dish. Highly recommend.

One of the best views in Dun Laoghaire. The breakfast is amazing as it is in their Portobello restaurant. I recommend Turkish Eggs 100%. The only downside in Dun Laoghaire restaurant, when you are eating on your table, the people who are waiting for a take away coffee are always around you (and mostly a lot of people). Moreover they stand between you and the view.

We popped in without reservations on a busy Saturday and the staff was more than welcome to accommodate us on a short notice. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and amazing food!

Ive read about this hidden gem so my friend and I walked to it and weren’t to lucky. The weather was horrible and the wifi didn’t work so we had to get even wetter to get cash. We hoped the breakfast would make it all up but it was ok. The waitress was awesome and nice and friendly. The coffee was great. The waiter sadly was the opposite. (Looked like he didn’t want to work or had a bad day or was just grumpy?) unacceptable imo as a chef. The Turkish eggs were good (the eggs cooked to perfection but missed a little taste) The mushrooms were disappointing with its boring salad and lack of taste I would return and try it again cause I feel they can do it but this time was soso

A little gem of a cafe in the heart of Portobello. First thing- the staff are fantastic. I've been here loads of times and they're always friendly and very helpful. Lovely menu and lots of choice with a couple of standout dishes. I've enjoyed the French toast lots of times but today I opted for sourdough toast with hummus and beets served with greens. Honestly it's one of the best things I've ever eaten. Perfect balance of textures and flavours. Their coffee also deserves a mention - cloudpicker, and it's excellent. Yes- the food is a couple more euro more than what you'd typically pay in the area, but the food is far superior to what you'd typically get in the area also, so worth every cent. They love their food in Bibis and it shows in what they serve. Can't wait to revisit.
