Big Mike’s in Dublin

Great food, but pricey. Very loud, so somewhat difficult to carry a conversation over dinner.

2nd time here and 2nd time I’ve been impressed. Nice friendly atmosphere with very engaging hosts. The food was delicious and cooked to what I asked for, medium rare beef!! Will be back again.

Used to love this restaurant but this is the third time in a row my steak has been overcooked. 30/11/23, 23/3/24, 28/3/24. I order bleu rare, this was wayyyy overdone. I did speak with our server about it and he offered compensation such as dessert cocktails but I declined. I should not be having to use sauce to eat a €47 fillet and the steak should have immediately been sent back to kitchen when seen by staff. Included a guide on basic steak doneness in the review for the kitchen staff

No nonsense seafood, great service, great drinks

Came here for lunch on a weekend with big expectations but was disappointed. The food was ok but overpriced for what it was, nothing special in terms of dishes and flavours. I ordered the chicken with garlic mushrooms and got a small piece of chicken with 3 mushrooms, the biggest part of the dish was the mashed potato. We asked to sit outside on the covered terrace and had to go inside 2 times to ask for service as the waiters seemed to forget there were tables outside. Considering the price's and reputation of this place I expected more, both in terms of service and food

Had a lovely start to bank holiday weekend with a fabulous night in Big Mikes. The food, staff and atmosphere was so good. Lleandro looked after us and was so helpful. Looking forward to going back soon.

Splendid place for afternoon lazy lunch. We can eat and eat. Not time limit😂! We are past 4pm still having our lunch. Food and service is great ambiance wonderful. Great location too.
