BIGFAN in Dublin

We went on a Friday evening and although the place was very busy, it was a very quick turnaround for the food. There was two of us and we ordered 7 dishes + dessert + 2 non-alcoholic drinks, we were absolutely stuffed by the end of the evening! Our favourites were the LingFen Wonton and the Prawn crackers, though everything we ordered was delicious! We spent €87 total, which I think is quite fair pricing for the quality of the food and the restaurant. Lastly, all the staff was absolutely fantastic, and big thanks to Nicole for being so lovely and also making sure my partner’s food was chilli-free ❤️

Was there on Friday and they are just the nicest staff ever. They were so accommodating and pleasant even when I had to make a few changes. Food was also fantastic, set menu for a big group was so so much delicious food, atmosphere excellent and the amazing staff were the icing on the cake!!

Had dinner there - great vibe, right off the bat. We sat outside (a little chilly for some, there Are heaters. I was fine) which was quieter - the inside was bustling and busy. The menu is super tight - someone did a really good job putting it together, seafood, meat, chicken, fish, vegetable options - all there, but compacted into a double sided sheet of paper. We ordered a bunch of dishes - the bao, hot and sweet chicken, salad, greens, fish, dumplings - everything was executed perfectly. Every single dish was on point, what needed to be crunchy was crunchy, what needed to be warm was warm, etc. the fish dumplings were amazing, so was the sweet chicken, we got two of each. Even the plate of greens was so good, my kid ate the broccoli and asked for more. The food can be spicy - I like it, but take it into consideration. When it says spicy on the menu - believe it. Good cocktail selection, we had one which was good. Two desserts available - we had them both and destroyed them in seconds. Absolutely delicious! And I have to say: the service was one of the best I've encountered in Dublin. Easy going, attentive, knowledgeable and informal. Looks like a good team there. Highly recommended. Just make sure to reserve a table in advance... It's not cheap, but well worth it. One of the best experiences I had in Ireland.

Staff were so lovely and took care of my allergies and made sure I was looked after. A lovely restaurant that I would recommend to anyone.

I love this place! ❤️ Such a good restaurant, amazing food and super service. Our waiter, who was Brazilian, was wonderful – very friendly and attentive to both us and the children. The food was delicious; we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. We sat outside in a covered area, which was surprisingly warm even in late December thanks to the heathers. I'm definitely looking forward to going back. Definitely get the corn ribs

You should try their cocktails — they’re very unique and not like the usual flavors you find in other bar

Amazing job by the team at Big Fan. Nicole served us and went the extra mile to make sure we were looked after and comfortable. My partner is gluten free and Nicole walked us through each dish on the menu so we knew exactly what she could eat and what dishes they could change up for us. The food and cocktails we had were amazing and good value for money. If you’re thinking of going, order the duck wings - unbelievable. Will definitely be back again!

Couldn’t rate the food highly enough. The staff have nailed the professional yet friendly/laid back dynamic that makes an evening so genuinely enjoyable. Huge shoutout to Nicole especially for being so warm, fun and attentive 🫶
