BIGFAN in Dublin

Really great meal here. A great concept of not just ordering Starter, Main and dessert. Was great ordering loads of things and getting to try everything. Big shout out to the Duck wings and Prawn Toast.

Food was amazing (recommend the chicken, ribs, and the cheeseburger dumplings), as were the cocktails. Staff members were lovely to deal with.

As you can see from my previous reviews I always review fairly- I have to say ok all but most parts i was disappointed- service ok not the best -had to ask a lot and waiting a bit for drink etc … food - nice but nothing special- wasn’t blown away - value for money not good - better places around for similar dishies - I wouldn’t rush back taking all into accounts-nice atmosphere though

Lovely staff and amazing food and cocktails

One of THE best meals have ever had. We had the set menu or sharing menu and everything was incredible. Prawn toast, gyoza and desert were highlights!

Really fun restaurant with a lively atmosphere and good food that is a bit different. Cocktails and local beers excellent too

Food overall was very good but it was so rushed! We were a group of 7 so opted for the set menu. They brought all dishes out in 35mins. It was insane. There was no space on the table and dishes were getting cold as we couldn’t eat quick enough. We asked 3 times for them to slow down and it was just ignored. Also cocktails didn’t taste like they had any alcohol. Lastly, we were seated outside. (It’s not a comfortable space, we were freezing) Don’t put it as an option if it’s not suitable. Overall, not an enjoyable experience which was disappointing as the food was good.

Food was okay, nice service except for the waiter smoking next to our table on his break. I fully understand the concept of 'tapas', but we were disappointed that the side of rice came out first and the spicy chicken (that would logically go with it) came out last. Also keep in mind the 'outdoor terrace area' are tables on the sidewalk of the busy street with plastic sheeting pegged above you. And be aware that the heaters are on a timer so you'll have to get up every 5 minutes to keep them on.

The best place we have tried after two years living in Ireland. Although we had to wait for a table, the service was incredible. All the guys who work here are wonderful. The drinks we ordered were correct. The way the food is ordered is a 10, we loved it. We tried 5 different dishes and one tasted better than the other. Unique, different and extremely tasty flavors. I would definitely return because we would like to try every dish on the menu. While it's not cheap, it's not expensive either, it's worth every penny. I wish they opened at noon too.
