My group and I loved the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. The people who work here are a JOY. We loved the happy vibes. Breakfast was filling and the lattes were great. Employees went above and beyond offering extra things to make our experience the best.

During my stay in Dublin I had breakfast here twice since I loved the first one so much. Staff is super friendly and the food is really tasty. I had the bagel with salmon twice, I loved it and still think about it.

One of my all time favourite cafes in Dublin. A rare lasting shop from over 25 years now I believe. But it has aged brilliantly. A mix of classics from the owners own background and modern classics. Gorgeous coffee, ice cream and pizza to boot. Not least of the highlights is the staff. From the owners dancing and singing around the cafe (and not afraid to dig in and help either I might add) to the ever attentive and fun staff - Bite of Life sums of modern Ireland and hospitality all in one. Any visit to nearby Patrick’s Cathedral, Patrick’s Park, Dublin Castle, Teelings Distillery or Christchurch Cathedral should include a stop here. My menu option of choice is the salmon cream cheese bagel - my SO goes for the Dutch Breakfast paired with a fresh tasty juice or an oat coffee. Amazing spot. If the weather is good - another great option is takeaway for a picnic in the park next door!

My first visit to Dublin, we were on our way to St. Patrick's Cathedral and happened upon Bite of Life to grab a snack. I ordered a green smoothie, a berry smoothie, and a slice of salmon quiche. Both were absolutely delicious. I genuinely would like to remake the quiche recipe at home because of how unique it was! The green smoothie tasted very natural and healthy. I would definitely recommend. For the rating, since I am obviously a tourist, I don't understand the politics of Dublin, but for some reason every store front had a lots of political flags. It was a bit unattractive for me as a customer, but otherwise really appreciated the food and services of the cafe. Also the prices were a bit surprising, we paid $35 for two smoothies, a slice of quiche, and a side of scrambleld eggs, and smoked salmon.

Brannigans

07/06/2026: Nice Irish pub, quick walk from our hotel. Food was delicious and hot and the cider was cold!
07/06/2026: If you visit Dublin the food was fabulous - authentic Irish food where locals clearly eat down a little side street from the main Templar Bar area. Seafood chowder delicous and chunky chips best ever!

Brew Lab Specialty Coffee

10/07/2026: Delicious coffee. Quite busy mid morning.
07/07/2026: A few years ago, a friend who does not even like coffee and does not live in Dublin told me, “You have to try Brew lab.” Because he was not a coffee person, I did not take the recommendation seriously. I assumed it was just another commercial coffee shop and skipped it. Months later, I happened to be nearby and finally walked in. I still remember that first feeling. The moment I stepped inside, I felt the spirit of the place. There was something special about Brew lab even before I tasted the coffee. I walked to the bar, ordered a coffee, and met Arvind. From that first day, he never made me feel like a customer. He treated me like a friend. We talked, shared our love of coffee, and I enjoyed every second I spent there. That first visit turned into countless more visits, conversations, and memories. From that day until my last in Dublin, Brew lab had a special place in my heart. Arvind and his wife Renata became like family. Sean, David, Ali, Hoi, Arthur, and the whole team gave the place its soul. Brew lab was never just about great coffee. It was about the people, and the feeling of walking through the door knowing you belonged. Leaving Dublin meant leaving many things behind, but saying goodbye to Brew lab was one of the hardest. I came in for coffee and left with friendships and people I will always consider family. Brew lab will always be part of my story in Dublin.
