Bittersweet Cafe in Dublin

The place has a great cafe food selection and good coffee. Staff is friendly and even if a bit cramped, it’s quite cosy. It’s great for a coffee break

Cute cafe to start our day in Dublin! Short walk from everything!

This was my first stop after an overnight flight to Dublin, and what a perfect welcome to the city it was! The women working the counter were so kind and lovely. I ordered the full Irish breakfast with tea and it was abundant and delicious! I don’t actually like eggs very much (but when in Rome..), but the egg was perfectly cooked and I genuinely enjoyed everything on the plate. The cafe is very small, but it wasn’t busy at 7am and I was able to charge my phone, use the wifi, and take my time with breakfast.

Two separate, well-stocked counters, one for savory items (sandwiches, paninis, brioches) and the other for sweets (brownies, cakes, muffins, scones) and, boom, "what should I have now?" You can also choose from various omelets. We ended up having porridge with banana and peanut butter, granola with yogurt (a nice big glass), cinnamon rolls with icing, and a berry scone. Everything was so good that we returned the following mornings. It opens at 7:00, which was perfect since they had an 8:30 appointment at Trinity College that day. They have Illy coffee. Prices aren't cheap, but they're average. Friendly staff, clean, and welcoming atmosphere.

The breakfast was very good, even available at 4 pm. However, the chips were store-bought and the paninis were clearly low quality... For the price, we expected better. Also, we were practically asked to leave to let other customers sit down. The woman came and took away my son's plate right in front of him, even though he hadn't finished eating! It was really unacceptable and a shame 😞

Amazing food. Cute little cafe with a menu on the board or some pre-made sandwiches. Open early which is great for the jet lagged Traveller who wake up at 6 am . I had the smashed Avocado toast with fried eggs (the eggs are an extra €3.50 euro. Just avo toast is €10.95

Great breakfast place. It's small. Some indoor seating, but space is limited. Only two or three small tables outside. Service was okay. The food was tasty. It was a bit expensive, in my opinion. Easily found gluten free food, nice selection with clear prices. A few vegan options too
