Hottest day of the year.Woken at 6am by a fridge truck with a delivery nearly a full hour delivering.

Just went in for food on a sunny day, good food and the staff were great. Sorcha in particular was really attentive and friendly, went beyond expectations and should he commended!

If visiting Mullingar make sure to stay at this hotel. Staff friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and the bar staff deserve special mention for their efficient and friendly service. The hotel is in a beautiful location. This is the perfect hotel for weddings and family gatherings. Thank you everyone for making our stay perfect.

Nice location but nothing special. The hotel is located very close to a lake which makes a nice and romantic setting for enjoying quiet sunsets. Parking: The hotel has ample parking and finding a spot for the car should be easy. Check-in: Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly reception. Very quick and easy check-in. Once we have the hotel our card details they gave us the key cards, what time breakfast was and that’s it. Room: Very spacious and cozy. The room we booked included a view of the lake, but the position of the room was not that great so we paid an extra 30€ to have a lake view if you sit on the window - not that great! The room itself was really great and spacious and cozy with all the amenities one could imagine: iron and ironing board, hair dryer, smart tv, coffee maker, a kettle, safe, and more. Bed: Amazingly comfortable mattress and pillows! Definitely top shelf! Had a great sleep and no stiff and tired neck after sleep. Peace and quiet: The room was perfectly fine (except the view) but the floors in the hallway made too much noise and our toddler couldn’t fall asleep because as soon as someone walked past the room he’d get up to see what’s up. Also, the room was right above the bar and we could hear music up until midnight which also made it difficult to sleep. Cleanliness: Both room and the bathroom looked very clean and very well kept! Pool and spa: The hotel does offer access to the pool and spa area. To get to the pool and spa, you have to go outside of the hotel since there is no indoor access to the pool and spa. The pool was decent size and the water temp is around body temperature and feels pleasant. Within the pool there is a small pool for kids that is approximately 2.5 x 2 meters which is not that big if there are several toddlers inside supervised by parents, it would get crowded fast. There is a single jacuzzi that fits 4 people at best but also part of the big pool is a whirlpool and can fit at least 10 people. The biggest issue with the pool and spa area there is only one changing area with only four lockers. There is also no high chair to fit a toddler if you need to dry their hair (or I haven’t spotted it). A steam room and sauna are also available in the spa area. Service: Staff is very friendly and the service was very good. We ordered room service and were surprised that there is a service fee of 10€ just to get an 8€ cocktail to the room (almost outrageous 🫢) Breakfast: Surprisingly poor! We were surprised to find that the breakfast buffet was a choice between scrambled egg, sunny side up eggs or granola. Barely any fruit to choose and the coffee maker made barely decent coffee. Not the worst breakfast but also nothing special! Hotel grounds: Guests will enjoy relaxing walks on the hotel grounds and see some amazing sunsets at the jetty. This was a great place to enjoy a quiet evening. Internet: Very bad coverage of 5G. My mobile internet was practically useless. Had to use the hotel’s wifi which I’m not a big fan of accessing public networks. All in all, not bad but we will not be in a mad rush to go back!

Great overnight stay here. Two adults and four kids in the family den room was the best room the kids loved the room layout. Dinner and breakfast was very nice and swimming pool facilities are excellent. The good weather allowed us to use the lovely grounds and playground. A great stay and I would recommend anyone to stay here.
