Botanic Gardens Cafe in Dublin

Nice variety of food, great cakes & treats

October 2024 Reopened and under new management Will need to visit a couple more times before I consider adding an updated review.

We had the tomato chili soup and it was delicious. Sandwiches were fresh and great variety. Desserts were delightful! Be sure to go to the courtyards Cafe and tearoom. The big cafe has a much longer wait.

Recently under new management; food, service, and cleanliness were all top notch! Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite or a drink before or after walking the gardens.

If you’re visiting the Botanic Gardens in Dublin, you should stop for food and drinks at this Cafe, it’s worth it! They have a very good selection of both sandwiches, cakes, cookies and scones to choose from, all of which are delicious. I went for a chicken stuffing sandwich whereas my girlfriend got the vegan option which she said it was awesome. The only drawback was that the main Cafe was under renovation that day so they had a smaller room with less capacity. Hopefully they will reopen soon, because it’s so worth it!

Had a hard time finding this place, as reservations on the original building were in place when we went, but it was good food and good staff that helped us pick out our food! Nice to have a place in the garden to eat.

Small cafe with coffee, tea, scones, muffins cakes and lunch options (expensive). Helpfull friendly staff, clean toilets.

Nice cafe. Lots of sweets to buy here. What is praiseworthy?
