One of the best bars in Dublin. A spot prized by locals tucked away near Trinity college. Seating is limited during busy times. But worth fighting for elbow room for arguably one of the best pints in Dublin.

Not been here for 20 years but nothing has changed (which is a, good thing) Dropped in after dinner and they were doing a brisk trade. Good service from Irish lasses, price of a pint of Bulmers cider was on the pricey side at 8.20 but the place was very well ran. The red type leather seating is too die for, incredibly comfortable. Will drop in again.

Popped in for beer and food while catching up with a work colleague. Quiet pub, nice for conversation, clean, and staff were excellent. Young switched on guys. Toilets downstairs were clean. Cottage pie and chips. We had pints of Smithwicks, and zero beers. No Guinness Zero. I'd go in again.

A lovely old Dublin pub, this place is a must for the Guinness drinker. Another fantastic pint of the black stuff. Highly recommend.

Amazing service from barman from clondalkin who had worked in Nantucket. Sound as and best Guinness had since coming home. Gold.

21/08/2026: Searson's of Baggot St exceeded every expectation for Irish food. Great vibe, packed with locals and visitors alike, and the whiskey flight was a fun way to start the meal. The seafood chowder was loaded with fresh seafood, the shepherd's pie was rich and hearty, and the roasted chicken with veg absolutely stole the show. Coming from NYC, I don't say this lightly, but the service was the best I've experienced anywhere in Europe. Couldn't try the whole menu but wish I could have. Highly recommend!
