Staff is lovely, but no washroom available and pigeons in the eating area.

This is my second time here and I can’t praise this place enough. I have travelled a lot in many countries, and I haven’t seen many train station cafes that have such a wide selection of genuinely delicious, fresh food and drinks. First time I had some beef with potatoes and peas, the second time a panini and both were a delight. The coffee is also pretty good, and you get a generous amount so very good value, if you ask me. The staff is very nice, very helpful and was happy to customize orders to my preferences. The cafe is large, spacious with ample space for your luggage as well which is a huge bonus for anyone traveling. Highly recommended. Will be coming back every time I travel to or from Dublin Heuston station.

For a cafe in a train station, I'm happily surprised to have a fresh GF sandwich made for me by the friendliest of staff. The side of beetroot made my day! Just such helpful, obliging staff and great options for all diets.

Homemade delicious scone, hot from the oven. Lovely staff and great service. It's obvious how hard they work preparing a very wide selection of all types of food.

I stopped here for lunch. It was a little confusing how to order, but the staff explained the process and then it went fine. I had a beef and Guinness pie with potato salad and green pea salad. I had a flat white coffee to drink. The food was OK. One of my favourite parts of a pie is the pastry. This pastry wasn't too flaky and I was a bit disappointed. Patrons should be prepared for the pigeons. There are old CDs hanging from the ceiling, presumably to deter them, but the birds were not deterred. The staff would come around and shoo them away. This is likely a function of the cafe being located inside the train station, but if it's not something you're used to seeing it can be a bit alarming. Also, there are no washrooms in the cafe. Patrons must use the washrooms in the main part of the train station.
