Brambles in Dublin

Located inside Heuston Station, this makes for an OK place to grab a bite, either dine-in or take-away. But the quality of food is something to compromise on, as I didn’t enjoy them that much. We also had a sandwich to go, and it came with coleslaw (and only coleslaw despite the sign saying “salad and coleslaw” I think they meant a choice between salad or coleslaw). Though we had the sandwich toasted, it was directly placed on top of the coleslaw making it cold and soggy. I think it would be beat to just consume what you buy inside the store, which was brightly lit and perfect to start you off in the morning!

Nice spot for a quick bite before taking the train,there’s plenty of seating inside, it’s a big space! I had a breakfast roll and an ice late. The coffee was ok. The breakfast roll was good, they’re a bit tight on the fillings though. Good spot overall if you’re in a pinch and need a quick breakfast/lunch!

Wonderful Cafe and great value for money. The staff were so helpful. I was disappointed to learn tips are cash only. I would very much liked to have left a tip for the staff who really were so kind, attentive and helpful. It would be good to be able to leave a tip via card. I personally do not carry cash.

I had a rather dull, not-so-fresh, microwaved fish cake which costs as same a weekly grocery shopping for a family of 2. The crust was falling apart and the fish-potato filling was a unapologetically semi-dry. 😔 On the plus side, I've had one of the best caramel macchiatos I've had in the whole of Ireland. If I wasn't late for my train, I would have had another one to go. I would definitely come back for this one gem of a coffee creation 👌👌👌
