Brew Lab Specialty Coffee in Dublin

Delicious coffee. Quite busy mid morning.

A few years ago, a friend who does not even like coffee and does not live in Dublin told me, “You have to try Brew lab.” Because he was not a coffee person, I did not take the recommendation seriously. I assumed it was just another commercial coffee shop and skipped it. Months later, I happened to be nearby and finally walked in. I still remember that first feeling. The moment I stepped inside, I felt the spirit of the place. There was something special about Brew lab even before I tasted the coffee. I walked to the bar, ordered a coffee, and met Arvind. From that first day, he never made me feel like a customer. He treated me like a friend. We talked, shared our love of coffee, and I enjoyed every second I spent there. That first visit turned into countless more visits, conversations, and memories. From that day until my last in Dublin, Brew lab had a special place in my heart. Arvind and his wife Renata became like family. Sean, David, Ali, Hoi, Arthur, and the whole team gave the place its soul. Brew lab was never just about great coffee. It was about the people, and the feeling of walking through the door knowing you belonged. Leaving Dublin meant leaving many things behind, but saying goodbye to Brew lab was one of the hardest. I came in for coffee and left with friendships and people I will always consider family. Brew lab will always be part of my story in Dublin.

The atmosphere was really nice, and the music created a great, relaxed vibe. Unfortunately, the coffee was disappointing. First, they charge extra for oat milk, which effectively means you're paying for both the regular milk that's already included in the price and the plant-based alternative. It doesn't feel like great value. More importantly, the coffee itself lacked depth of flavour. It tasted rather flat and didn't have the richness or complexity I was expecting. It's a pleasant place to spend some time, but I hope they improve the quality of their coffee.

Opened my eyes to the potential of pour over after a fair amount of "meh" experiences at other cafes. Best in class for pour over in Dublin.

For real coffee enthusiasts this is a great spot. Tried coffee from the brew bar yesterday and today, the Nestor Lasso today was excellent, well prepared, walked through the paragon process and the cherry notes in the cup were intense. Grabbed a Yirgacheffe long black on the way out to walk with, again really well produced, balanced cup.

It was excellent! We went there 5 days in a row 😮‍💨🥰 our fav coffee shop in Dublin to say the least. 💫✨ It has many vegan options. 🌿🫶🏼 I recommend to try the Iced Raspberry Chai ☁️

Service: Well details on the menu items from food to drinks. Food: the cold drink was great if yoy love strong dose of caffeine but not suit to everyone! Portion is great. Both in the sandwich and the drink The Italian chicken was greatly filled but bread choice could be replaced with different one to match filling with texture and crust / crunch to make the experience even better with every bite. The cheese melting stretch test passed with mid stretches could had better . Flavoured for cheese was not overly salted and when having a bite not chewing like a gum in must other places when having your sandwiches. The brownie is fantastic melt in your mouth , very moist in every bite. the energy ball pistachio just kick in right boosts .

Yummm. Great vibes. Lots of specialty coffee and matcha flavors. Pastries really well done! A few sandwiches too. Seating and ambience is great.

Best coffee in Dublin! Nice place to sit and chat or read a book!
