Best Smash Burger I ever had! Very very good ribeye steak burger!

Strand House is a class spot—fresh, delicious food and an atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming. The staff are amazing, always friendly and up for a chat, especially manager Dave who brings serious good vibes. Tuesday Steak Night is a winner (€22 for an 8oz ribeye with all the trimmings), and the brunch is just as strong—cheesy croques, fluffy pancakes, and everything made fresh. One of Dublin 3’s best-kept secrets.

Delighted to find good food in Fairview. We really needed this. Great food, friendly professional service and nice atmosphere.

We organised a work night out from a local business at The Strand House and were impressed all round. The platters were tasty with a good variety including veggie options and the staff were attentive throughout the evening, checking in with us on multiple occasions. I would recommend for groups and for drinks and food generally.

We had a post-Elopement/wedding party in their function room upstairs and it was absolutely fantastic from initial contact to the night itself. I organised the party from England so was a bit stressed with it especially never having seen the place but their communication and attitude of staff was amazing, all genuinely friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they took all the stress out of it! Honestly cannot say enough great things about the food! The chef Chrys is so good at what she does. We had 5 platters of vegan food and a 2 tier vegan cake and it was unreal! So delicious, even the non-vegans loved it! The bar downstairs is lovely. The upstairs function room itself is perfect. We were able to decorate it ourselves no problem, it has it's own bar, toilets, beer garden/smoking area and plenty of room for a dj and dancing. Special thanks to James for answering my endless emails, Chrys for being willing to do all vegan food and cake, Dave for being awesome in every way possible and making us feel very well looked after, and also to the staff who worked the bar that night, you're all fantastic and you all made our night! 100% recommend Strand House for a function or even just for a pint and some food! Having heard good things about the new food menu in the Strand House we had to try it out. My companions both ordered a small portion of wings, 1 Buffalo and 1 BBQ. They came with the usual celery sticks and a ranch sauce and they were a huge success. Both options were really tasty. The Chile Beef Nachos that we shared between us were absolutely delicious and generous for a starter portion. One rib eye beef burger with chips completed our food order and it was excellent. A good juicy burger with tasty sauces and twice cooked chips. All washed down with a couple of pints of Guinness and a glass of cold Heineken we had a very enjoyable time in the Strand House. The service was excellent and Dave and his team made us feel very welcome. The rib eye steak special is a bargain at €22 and is definitely on the list to try next time. We will definitely be back to try more of the options on the food and drinks menus and hopefully next time I'll be able to order a Bloody Mary 😉
