Bru House in Dublin

Having heard good things about the new food menu in the Strand House we had to try it out. My companions both ordered a small portion of wings, 1 Buffalo and 1 BBQ. They came with the usual celery sticks and a ranch sauce and they were a huge success. Both options were really tasty. The Chile Beef Nachos that we shared between us were absolutely delicious and generous for a starter portion. One rib eye beef burger with chips completed our food order and it was excellent. A good juicy burger with tasty sauces and twice cooked chips. All washed down with a couple of pints of Guinness and a glass of cold Heineken we had a very enjoyable time in the Strand House. The service was excellent and Dave and his team made us feel very welcome. The rib eye steak special is a bargain at €22 and is definitely on the list to try next time. We will definitely be back to try more of the options on the food and drinks menus and hopefully next time I'll be able to order a Bloody Mary 😉

Food is absolutely fantastic. Eaten multiple times and had most dishes. Burger, roasts, nachos, wings, mussels. All fantastic. Highly recommend

Decided to drop in for a quick drink on my way home from work, the barmaid behind the bar was so nice and pleasant, she even convinced me to stay for food which was lovely (nachos) Although, the waiter who looked after me I found a bit arrogant and pushy. I felt like he just wanted me gone. Great food! Great Bar Staff! Waiters need training.

Me and my partner love go to the the strand house to have some food and drinks the food is lovely great service the staff is so lovely it's a great place to go eat and drink the manger Dave is so nice I would Highly Recommend to everyone 😊

A very friendly place not far from our rental. Very good products were supported by dynamic and smiling service. The staff is attentive and present while knowing how to remain discreet. This is an appreciated attention that demonstrates the professionalism of the team on site. We had a very, very good time. Our opinions are unanimous, it is a real recommendation if you want to enjoy yourself.

We booked a big table for brunch! 10 adults and 5 kids. The staff were excellent and no ask was too big or small. The food was excellent and the desserts were a show stopper. We’ll be back 🙂

We’ve been here for food four times now and it has been consistently good on each occasion. Two adults and two kids with very different taste, and we’ve always left with a smile on our face and full stomachs. The staff are so lovely. The food is delicious. No complaints here!
