We had my dad's funeral afters here just today, it was lovely they did a fantastic selection of food including soup hot fare and cakes even fresh flowers. Everyone that attended was highly complementary, well done the strand house.

New chef and customer service is excellent. Highly recommend. Really good place if you wanna have a small party too.

Kind of a nice pub but this time there were too many unavailable menu items and very quiet for unknown reason. The burger though was very good.

Really lovely pub with excellent food, cheerful service & great atmosphere. As Australians we have been terribly disappointed with the poor quality food sold at outrageous prices that we have endured in Ireland. The Strand was a refreshing surprise. Head & shoulders the best meal we have had. Plus nice to see all the dietaries listed on the menu. Bravo to everyone there.

We had chosen this place as a meeting place for the two groups we were taking to Ireland because, conveniently, it's quite close to the ferry terminal. We had a good meal there (with 12 people), and the service was friendly and efficient. We returned just before our departure and were once again very well received. The atmosphere is cozy, the owner very friendly, and we were able to enjoy the sunshine by going up to the open-air terrace.
