I live locally and have been there couple of times so far. The manager Dave is very welcoming and friendly, the food was delicious each time (mussels, steak and wings) and the traditional Irish music on Sunday night was great. The place is child friendly which is a great bonus. Definitely a must go if you’re in the neighbourhood

I have nothing but praise for The Strand House. The Fish and Chips were spectacular, the Chef really cares! And Guinness with the ideal thickness and temperature. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the location is excellent.

The food is excellent. Had a Sunday roast and it was top class. The service is great and the atmosphere is relaxed. Really great spot for a Sunday meal out with the family!

Food is absolutely fantastic. Eaten multiple times and had most dishes. Burger, roasts, nachos, wings, mussels. All fantastic. Highly recommend

Stunning experience staff and food were superb! Jerry was extremely helpful and hand and food at our table with anything we needed food or drink wise! Steak and eggs were cooked to perfection. We arrived slightly later than serving time but the staff went out of their way to ensure we got what we wanted 8:59pm. Will be back. Thank you for a great experience

22/09/2024: Great for a drink before/after Croke Park
18/09/2024: The place is always filled with the locals, so if you're looking for irish humour, then definitely gather around here.. I won't necessarily recommend it for a first date but perfect for like a 4th date. Definitely a good meetup spot for friends. 12-15 minutes walk from the bus stop making commuting not too bad. Close to crow park so taxi's are everywhere. All in all, a decent enough spot with good prices and lovely homely service.

13/11/2024: Had a fabulous 21st Birthday Party upstairs here. Staff were great and the DJ was fantastic. A lovely venue to have a party in. Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
