Bru House in Dublin

A really nice Irish pub, with a good variety of drinks and hearty food. Big eaters will love it. The waitresses are super friendly.

A stunning decor (wood, antiques, books, vintage leather banquettes), a simple yet high-quality menu. A good selection of beers. In short, a great place to eat in Dublin, with the added bonus of a park right across the street for a post-meal stroll!

Had an absolutely amazing birthday in the function room of the Strand House! I booked the place about a month ahead of time, I was shown around and offered a refreshment before booking and the manager was so sound. I had a million questions for them in the lead up to the party and they never treated the questions as a nuisance. On the night itself I was dealing with Victor and Ceoilín (sorry if I spelled your names wrong!) who were both very professional and incredibly kind. Good selection of drinks, I was on the Aperol Spritz all night and was very happy. We were able to come back the next day to collect presents and decorations. My family were able to enjoy a delicious dinner earlier in the day, I would thoroughly recommend the ribeye steak here, it was cooked perfectly. I would also recommend coming here for brunch. All of the staff at the Strand House are so kind and thoughtful. The vibe was always warm and welcoming. I hope to celebrate my birthday here again next year. Maith sibh 👏

Had dinner here this evening. My husband had the fish and chip. Fish was super crispy...delish. I had chicken wings, best I've had. Had nachos with mince always sceptical when getting mince as I think it was be too greasy but it was perfect. Service was great, by Victor. Such a pleasant man. Sunday night and the place was hopping, their usual Traditional musicians where there, 1st time I'd heard them play, they were full of life. Couldn't have been anywhere better . Great spot...5 stars xx

As a local in the area this is without a doubt my favourite local pub. It's a pub where I either attend with friends or alone as the staff make you feel more than welcome and engage with all of their customers. Food is great, Guinness is to die for if you're a Guinness drinker and overall the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. If you haven't already been here, get down here now!🙂

Great place, very nice pub with friendly staff. The food tasted delicious. The pub is located outside the center, so it is not as touristy as the pubs in the center. Highly recommended.

We stayed at a hotel near this pub and ended up here after being in the busy city. Upon arrival, we were welcomed very warmly by the bartender, who took our order immediately. Meanwhile, live music was playing and we had a delicious meal! The atmosphere was cozy, but fortunately not as hysterically busy as in the city, which we really appreciated. Definitely recommended, and we enjoyed the evening!

Food great Beer great, plenty of room if you want to have a chat staff very friendly. There.is a room upstairs for a larger gathering, however it is not wheelchair friendly.
