Bru House in Dublin

Didn’t eat here but stopped in for a couple pints of Guinness. The staff was very friendly and put going. When they noticed the pints almost finished at the table they came out and asked if we wanted another.

Food great Beer great, plenty of room if you want to have a chat staff very friendly. There.is a room upstairs for a larger gathering, however it is not wheelchair friendly.

Live bands needed all week This place should be the Whelans of the north side with new bands upstairs etc wire the music downstairs not too loud downstairs to please everyone. But for me at the moment its too boring But amazing building perfect for some live music. Ill edit review in future but thats what it needs, no food sorry Quiz night a good idea P, Roscommon

Great bar nice IPA Drinks and good staff. Reasonable prices

First time visiting The Strand House and we will definitely be going back ... the buttermilk chicken was to die for, simply delish! Staff are very friendly and the table service was a great bonus.

The Strand was an absolute pleasure as always. We arrived around 30 minutes after opening and immediately we were greeted by staff. They bring us to a nice table upstairs and explained the menu. The food was amazing and the pork belly is to die for! The staff were so helpful and kind that we ended up tipping 25% instead of our usual 20% just to show our gratitude. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. A massive thank you to our waiter and waitress Natalia and Victor.

Really nice pub, nicely finished inside, friendly staff. Didn't eat but they also serve food which is supposedly very nice.

I hope this review is taken as constructive criticism. Considering the cost of our lunch I felt it necessary to write a review. Our group of 20 attended for lunch last Sunday. A mixture of adults and children. Pros =chicken wings,waitresses we're very friendly and helpful.place is spotless. Relaxed atmosphere as the place was very quiet. Cons= Prior to our booking I tried to call to arrange a booking and they do not appear to answer the phone it just rings out .difficult when trying to arrange a booking for a large group.you guys may get more bookings if the phone is answered . Menu -the menu given to us on the day was not the menu currently on the website. Wait time- fully appreciate that we had asked to split the bill into separate families however there were significant delays in between some of our group receiving their food.food was not overall hot on arrival. Food -chicken wings and the soup were lovely however the majority of the main meals were disappointing given the price. The chips tasted like the grease in the fryer badly needs to be changed .The mash served with the chicken supreme was vile .no taste whatsoever and random veg included bok choi on a chicken supreme dish ? I could go on .... Deserts -I have never seen such a random selection of deserts .majority of our group did not have a one due to the selection. Price -charged 16euro for a baby bowl and 4 euro for extra gravy (disappointing) Service charge for each family when paying. For two people for 2 starters and two mains with no drinks near 90 euro. Overall the food really didn't match the prices being charged.
