Bunsen in Dublin

Great burger. They could level up their game by adding some options for sauces with chips. Not a fan of the service. Also service was a bit slow for a light customer base at the time.

There’s a few options to choose from but they are all solid. I ordered cheeseburger and my partner had cheeseburger and fries — 10/10! I like that they asked how you’d like your burger to be cooked because we prefer it well done. Will definitely be coming back

Bunsen definitely lives up to the hype when it comes to their burgers. The patty was juicy, perfectly cooked to order, and the toppings were simple yet delicious. Honestly, the double cheeseburger itself was a solid 5-star experience. However, the hand-cut fries were a real letdown. They tasted like they'd been sitting around for a while and then quickly reheated. They were lukewarm, had a slightly burnt flavour, and lacked any real freshness. It genuinely felt like we were served leftover fries, which was disappointing considering the price point. To top it off, the service was a bit slow. Our food took longer than expected to arrive, especially considering the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Overall, Bunsen offers a fantastic burger, but the poor quality of the fries and the slow service bring the experience down significantly. If they could sort out their sides and speed things up, this place would easily be a 5-star joint. For now, it's a 3 out of 5. Go for the burger, but maybe skip the fries.

Bunsen consistently serve great burgers, making them my favourite burger chain in Dublin. The menu is simple and comes in the size of a business card. I ordered the cheeseburger with shoestring fries, which were served quickly. The place is small so it can easily get packed on a weekend evening. Luckily they have a table booking system on their website.

Great burger, truly amazing — that meat really had that proper beef flavor! I loved every single bite, and the fries were just as good. Very reasonable prices and fairly quick service, depending on how busy it is. We waited a bit to be seated without a reservation, but that was fine. The only downside is the place itself — pretty basic and quite narrow.

Another excellent experience in Bunsen. Lovely food, pleasant staff. Highly recommended.

Very good food, one of the best burgers in Dublin, but for a perfect burger it has to have bacon, I think it's great when you give the option of adding bacon, then those who like it add it and those who don't Put it on and everyone will be 100% happy

Simple but one of the best burgers I've tried! Absolutely try the sweet potato fries.

Very good burgers. We thought they were smash but when I asked the point of the meat I was surprised, so much better than I expected. The menu is simple and easy so it won't be difficult for you to tell yourself and any option is good. I made the cheeseburger rare and the flavor of the meat and together with the cheese had a very good flavor. Very good potatoes, both sweet and salty. A good place to eat if you are a burger lover. Very friendly staff.
