THE BEST burgers I have ever had in my life. Seriously. We were in Dublin for about five days and went back twice. Absolute banger. Top-tier meat. I would recommend it to everyone traveling to Dublin. For the girlies; it was so good that it earned two full pages in my scrapbook. That is how good it was!

Bunsen is a simple burger spot with great fresh made food.
The burgers where juicy and fries crispy.

They didn’t care about the customers when we entered and we had to wait for 5 minutes in order to catch their attention. The waitress saw us. But, pretended that she hadn’t seen us. The hand cut chips was extremely in bad condition in appearance wise. However the shoestring fries were in fantastic condition.

Visited Bunsen Dublin on Saturday, 4th April at 19:00. Sadly, the quality here seems to be slipping rather quickly. The front-of-house staff were welcoming and accommodating, seating us at a stool and counter without issue.
However, an Irish waiter insisted we move seats when we tried to sit together, which felt unnecessarily rigid, felt a bit like the cattle that are used to make the burgers.
We ordered two double cheeseburgers, which in the past were phenomenal, but this time were far below the usual Bunsen standard. The patties were unusually thick yet tiny, overly greasy, and lacked seasoning, honestly.
The total bill for two burgers, a portion of fries, and two small 330ml beers came to just under €50. Considering the quality now seems to be skimping on ingredients, it’s hard to justify the steep price.
It’s a shame to see one of Dublin’s once-reputable burger brands decline in both quality and value. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. 😭

Irish burger chain. Great service and atmosphere. The burgers are delicious, very similar to those at 7 Street in New York. And the fries were very good.

The fries and burger were good quality.
However, a bit pricey for the portion size.
Professional service in a modern setting.

The best burgers in Dublin.
Why? Simplicity and quality.
With numerous locations throughout the city, the menu is straightforward: simple, uncomplicated, single, double, and with bacon. And the quality and flavor are excellent at a reasonable price.
As a guide told us, burgers go to burger joints and beer to pubs. Absolutely right.
They're usually busy, but the service is fast.
Highly recommended if you're tired of Guinness stew.
