Bunsen in Dublin

Spurred by the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I tried this place at their Temple Bar location. They have other locations around the city. The menu, as they say, is limited, but the quality of the food is truly exceptional. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and the customer service is truly excellent. Recommended.

A really, really good burger. Juicy, generous, fresh… I ate it all without hesitation.

A very refined, well-kept place, a gem in a former bank. Fast and attentive service, but meat isn't their strong point. Compared to what I find elsewhere, it's a step down.

This place does classic burgers perfectly. Get your burger cooked medium, all toppings, and it is exactly how a burger should be IMO. The staff was quick and friendly. Our food came out within a few minutes and the fries are so good. 1 star down for atmosphere because it was really loud (music + crowded). Would love to see the bar stools be able to move or swivel, they're bolted into the ground. When it is crowded it is a tight squeeze walking through. I had a fantastic meal here.

The burgers are incredibly delicious. The individual selection is fantastic, just like at 5 Guys but with table service. The fries are perfect for sharing. I'd like to see more topping options: fried onions, grilled peppers, or mushrooms – there's definitely room for improvement.

The menu is very simple and thats great - hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, and some drinks. The burgers here are really good and very thick. A double is to large to take a proper bite. I make it a habit to come back here every time I am in Dublin.

We received wonderful service from the very first moment, especially from María, who is an absolute delight. She offered us a very large and comfortable table for my whole family. I explained that my son has celiac disease, and María explained that they had gluten-free options and that we could rest assured, as in these cases they prepare everything separately and with great care to avoid cross-contamination. Then Ariane served us—another delightful person! I even asked if she and María were sisters because they have such similar energy and friendliness, but they told us that, unfortunately, they weren't. They both made our experience incredible. And best of all: the food arrived in perfect condition, my son was able to eat without worry, and there were no issues with gluten. Everything went perfectly. We will definitely return many times with our family and friends. Thank you so much, Ariane and María!

We were extremely well attended to by Maria and Ariane. They have an incredible rapport that even changes the energy of the restaurant; there are so many smiles and they are incredibly polite to all the customers. They are both top-notch! We will return many more times; the food is very good too.
