Burger King in

Last Friday early evening my adult autistic brother struggled to regulate at Burgerking. He was acting in a way that could seem unsafe to others. Two young staff came , calmly, smilingly remaining nearby in case we needed assistance, but letting me support my brother, even when he attempted to go behind the counter. Their maturity and humanity was outstanding. Even better, one seemed settled Irish,one seemed first generation Irish - the values of being decent humans are shared by us all. We are very grateful for their graceful presence helping to restore calm in a tricky situation .

Used the app to order ahead. That part went smoothly, but my order still wasn’t ready when I arrived. The burger was fine, but fries were cold and soggy. Not ideal. Staff was polite and apologized, which I appreciated. The restaurant was clean enough, just felt a little run down. Burger King used to feel like an upgrade from McDonald’s, but now it’s more or less the same.

On an overseas holiday currently, decided to stop and get a quick something. It was honestly one of the best experiences I had.

Group of 20 kids /5 adults visited for food on Saturday 7th June. Service was quick thanks to Marc Reid and his team. Nothing was a problem -highly recommend!
