Butlers Cafe Stillorgan in Dublin

All the drinks and chocolates looked amazing here so I had to walk in. Even though it’s a franchise, it has a really nice classy feel. You get a free small piece of chocolate with every meal. You can choose any piece on display! Also love the variety of hot chocolate although I didn’t actually try them.

I don't like leaving poor reviews. I want places to thrive and win but... And II don't want anyone to get in trouble but the woman working on Saturday just gone seemed a bit aggressive and a bit rude. She looked stressed out. I try to be as polite as possible but it wasn't reciprocated. I know that shop is so busy and the last Saturday was beautiful. It was towards the end of the day but maybe the main person at the till can be rotated to avoid fatigue and agitation. The woman looking after milk and that handed me the coffee was nice and polite. However, my coffee was really bitter. I don't know if that's because it was over brewed or what. I have a good recollection of Butlers doing decent coffee. Albeit, I've more experience with Grafton, Henry and Donnybrook. It won't stop me from trying Butlers again. I think this could have been an off-day for that location. *Edit** 26/02/25 I've since gone back and the staff were nice and coffee was better, however I still think theyre burning the coffee a tad bit. But the free chocolate is always a hit. I've adjust the starts to reflect newer experience.

The pastries are good. The drinks are excellent. Price a bit high. Very polite staff.

It is the best coffee you can find in Dublin and it has seats so you can enjoy your coffee on a rainy day

The best hot chocolate I've ever had, and the best service. The most beautiful chocolate shop I've ever seen. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Anyone who says otherwise needs to eat more chocolate in their life. I'm just sorry there are no butlers in my country, the city where I live. It's always in my heart. During the days I spent in Ireland, I drank hot chocolate every day.
