30/08/26: it's been a while and I don't get up as much as I d like to because of work, but just got back upon a Sunday and had a lovely Irish brekkie. The warm feeling from the team is the big bonus. Sue and Ada worked today and are the nicest folks. Always feel welcomed. Love this cafe. Hidden gem. Great spot to grab a coffee and head up to the park for a lap. There is never a queue, because its in the other side of the park. In my opinion it's better than its competitors on the other side. I'm a bit torn about letting the secret out. Owners are the best and it's great to support local. Grab one of their delicious home made sausage rolls if you want to reward yourself in advance. Cheers

Got a chicken pesto, peppers cibatta. Food was grand , coffee was the same , seemed to have a good regular customer base so I say I just ordered badly.

Lovely breakfast. Best fried eggs I have had in a long time. Staff are really friendly and have a chat with every customer.

Lovely people running the place and the food is great, got 4 takeaway sandwiches in a few minutes and the whole time I was there the staff were non stop helping people everyone seemed to be happy to be there nice to see local places make such an effort

15/07/2026: Food was good though service was a bit slow despite being at a quiet time in early afternoon. Drinks were slow being brought to the table. Food was good however, no staff enquired if everything was to our satisfaction which I think is essential when dining out. Will be back to see if service is better.
12/07/2026: Staff and place great but food definitely not worth the money. Posh snack box chicken was really tough. Plus comes in a bowl so cutting the chicken is hard. Spicy smash burger not spicy at all. Over priced for what it is and you get.

13/09/2026: Great place! The cheese there is amazing! Get the charcuterie board with meat and cheeses! And definitely try all of the sandwiches! Love the wine selection as well love that there was different varietals that we could try! Keep it up Loose Canon Cheese team! Thank you!
24/08/2026: Very expensive ! The place is cool, the wine is good, the cheese plate was interesting (21€). I know cheese is expensive so I don’t mind. I don’t know if these are Dublin standards but 13€ for a glass 🥲ouch. I had a good time tho. For glasses it’s perfect. I believe the uncork fee of 15€ is a bit much. Perfect for one or two glasses but wouldn’t spend a whole evening there
