Caffrey's in Batterstown

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Caffrey’s in County Meath. The vibe was spot on—lively, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food and drinks were just as impressive. We enjoyed a great spread including Guinness, wine, and a standout Bumbu Colada. For food, everything hit the mark—from the flavourful chicken wings and fresh crab claws to the rich risotto and sizzling fajitas. The Thai red curry was beautifully balanced and packed with flavour. To top it all off, the brownie dessert was the perfect finish—decadent and satisfying. Overall, amazing atmosphere, excellent food, and great service. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

Food and service was excellent. I found it dark inside but that was the only fault I could find. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back here again in the future

Best food I have ever tasted - staff /management are so efficient -

I've just found my heaven on earth, simple food stunningly done, the perfect pint and the staff are exceptional, friendly and so welcoming and the owner seems lovely and genuinely liked by all his staff. I haven't been in this pub is 28 year's but won't be making that mistake again.

Decent food moderately priced, wine per glass is pricey, service from our waiter was mediocre at best

Super atmospheric place with a great vibe. The staff are really friendly and helpful, which makes you want to come back. The food is amazing – I ordered the ribs and they were absolutely delicious 🤤 And the prices? For this quality, they’re very reasonable, around €20 for a proper meal. Highly recommend!

Nice pub, food is nice friendly staff, but prices are to expensive for drink and food, advice, shop around deals in other places

This place is a little gem, food is fabulous, staff are excellent, atmosphere is warm and inviting. I’ve eaten here lots over a 20 year period and it is ALWAYS excellent which to so rare.Highly Recommend and a shout out to our lovely waiter from down under. 🇦🇺
