The food from Camile Ashbourne is always exceptional. We have some coeliacs in our house and they always accommodate by making the dishes gluten free for us.

The food was hot and fresh. I specifically ordered the food an hour before collection and it wasn't sitting for ages before I collected it.

Food was excellent as always. We went for two main courses on the meal deal which was very good value. Delivery was on time and when I clicked into email I received after putting in the order you could see the movement of the delivery driver on a map in real time. Overall very happy.

Strollers Bistro

12/10/2024: Ate at Strollers this evening and we already can't wait to go back. Great service, food arrived promptly, no long waits between courses. Plate of breads and spreads, while we waited for our starters to arrive, was a lovely touch. The food was divine. Barely had room for dessert but when the dessert trolley arrived it was too hard to resist! Great atmosphere, lovely friendly guy playing piano kept us all entertained. By far the nicest place we've ate in Ballyb.
28/09/2024: Been a few years since I’ve stayed or eaten here. I was blown away by the current offering. An excellent setting that’s very comfortable with amazing food. So many extra little details outside of the food that was perfect- the welcome, the temperature, the sound and the desert trolly! Great work everyone. I look forward to my return.

Ballycommon House Bar & Self Catering Apts

04/09/2024: stopped for coffee and breakfast after a nice run along the banks of the adjacent entrance canal. the bake house is located in an idyllic setting, close to the banks of the canal. We ordered some coffee and some granola pots for breakfast. The food was tasty and filling service was excellent and the coffee was also very good. This is a perfect spot for a stop off for some cake coffee or breakfast.
10/07/2024: Lovely cosy spot. Delicious vegan toastie and nice coffee. 🌟
